Hoby Milner RP | CHC
Brewers' Hoby Milner: Recalled by Brewers
Milner was recalled from Triple-A Nashville on Wednesday.
Milner will serve as an extra left-handed arm in the Brewers' bullpen after southpaw Angel Perdomo (back) was placed on the injured list Wednesday. The 30-year-old has recorded a 5.40 ERA and 1.89 WHIP in 11.2 innings across 11 relief appearances in the majors this year.

Justin Topa RP | MIN
Brewers' Justin Topa: Activated by Brewers
Topa (elbow) was reinstated from the 60-day injured list Wednesday.
Topa began the season on the 60-day injured list due to a flexor tendon strain, and he spent nearly a month in the minors on a rehab assignment. Across 10 relief appearances, the right-hander posted a 2.00 ERA and 1.00 WHIP in nine innings. He'll now be available to make his season debut out of Milwaukee's bullpen.

Angel Perdomo RP | LAA
Brewers' Angel Perdomo: Placed on injured list
Perdomo was placed on the 10-day injured list Wednesday with a strain in his lower back.
The left-hander pitched during Tuesday's doubleheader and struggled, giving up a run on a hit and three walks while recording two strikeouts in two-thirds of an inning. The severity of the injury is unknown, and Perdomo will be eligible to return Aug. 21.

Carmen Mlodzinski SP | PIT
Pirates' Carmen Mlodzinski: Completes sim game
Pirates director of sports medicine Todd Tomczyk confirmed Wednesday that Mlodzinski (shoulder) recently tossed a live batting practice session, Jake Crouse of MLB.com reports.
Mlodzinski will likely face hitters in BP sessions or simulated games at least a couple more times before the Pirates clear him to begin a rehab assignment in the rookie-level Florida Complex League. The 22-year-old right-hander posted a 2.63 ERA and 1.02 WHIP in 41 innings at High-A Greensboro before being shut down in mid-June with right shoulder soreness.

John Curtiss RP | ARI
Brewers' John Curtiss: Out with torn UCL
Curtiss was placed on the 10-day injured list Wednesday with a torn UCL in his right elbow.
Curtiss exited Tuesday's contest with elbow discomfort and is now staring down an extended absence. The 28-year-old will likely miss the rest of the season and could require Tommy John surgery, which would also sideline him for most, if not all, of the 2022 campaign.

Sam Howard RP | DET
Pirates' Sam Howard: Faces hitters Wednesday
Howard (oblique) threw a simulated game at PNC Park on Wednesday, Kevin Gorman of TribLive.com reports.
Howard resumed mound work last week as he continues to work his way back from a right oblique strain, and he felt good after facing hitters Wednesday. Pirates director of sports medicine Todd Tomczyk didn't say how many simulated games the southpaw will participate in, but Howard's next step in his recovery will likely be a rehab assignment.

Jose Alvarado RP | PHI
Phillies' Jose Alvarado: Lands on injured list
Alvarado was placed on the 10-day injured list Wednesday with a left shoulder impingement.
Alvarado hasn't pitched since delivering a scoreless frame Aug. 7, so it appears he's been dealing with the injury for a few days. It's unclear how long the left-hander is expected to be sidelined, but he'll be eligible to return from the injured list Aug. 18.

Matt Moore RP | BOS
Phillies' Matt Moore: On track to join rotation
Phillies manager Joe Girardi said Moore will likely start Saturday's game against the Reds, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.
Unless he's needed in relief during the Phillies' next three games, Moore will step back into the rotation as a replacement for Chase Anderson (triceps), who was placed on the injured list last weekend. Whether working as a starter or long reliever this season, Moore has been hit hard (2.1 HR/9, 1.63 WHIP) and has exhibited poor control (9.4 percent walk rate). Even in NL-only formats, Moore may do more harm than good for fantasy managers.

Connor Brogdon RP | CLE
Phillies' Connor Brogdon: Returns from 10-day IL
Brogdon (elbow) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Wednesday, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.
Brogdon was dealing with right elbow tightness, but he'll rejoin the Phillies' bullpen after spending just over the minimum of 10 days on the injured list. Since the start of July, the right-hander has put up a 2.45 ERA and 1.00 WHIP in 11 innings across nine relief appearances.

Brent Suter RP | LAA
Brewers' Brent Suter: Notches first career save
Suter picked up his first career save in Game 2 of Tuesday's doubleheader with the Cubs.
With Josh Hader (COVID-19) out of action and both Devin Williams and Brad Boxberger pitching in the first game of the twin bill, manager Craig Counsell turned to Suter for the final four outs of the nightcap and the southpaw delivered. Fantasy players should not count on Suter tallying more than another save or two, but he is still providing value elsewhere, allowing just one earned run in 15.1 innings (0.59 ERA) while racking up three wins and posting a 1.04 WHIP over his last 12 trips to the mound.
