Tucker Davidson RP | PHI
Braves' Tucker Davidson: Added to World Series roster
Davidson (forearm) was added to Atlanta's World Series roster Wednesday.
Davidson sustained a forearm injury since mid-June and was unable to return to game action during the second half of the season, but he began a rehab assignment in early October. The southpaw generated a 3.60 ERA and 1.15 WHIP in 20 innings across four major-league starts during the regular season and should be in the mix to serve as a starter in the World Series after Charlie Morton (lower leg) was removed from the roster.

A.J. Minter RP | NYM
Braves' A.J. Minter: Earns relief win
Minter (1-0) allowed one run on three hits and no walks while striking out three in 2.2 innings to earn the win over the Astros in Game 1 of the World Series on Tuesday.
Minter entered Tuesday's matchup after Charlie Morton was removed with a fractured fibula, and he had plenty of insurance since Atlanta combined to score five runs across the first three innings. The southpaw has been dominant during the postseason and has recorded a 0.90 ERA and 0.70 WHIP in 10 innings across six appearances.

Jacob Webb RP | CHC
Braves' Jacob Webb: Dropped from roster
Webb was left off Atlanta's World Series roster, Kiley McDaniel of ESPN.com reports.
Webb has appeared in two playoff games this season, giving up four runs in 1.2 innings of work. Kyle Wright, who can give the team a bit more length, was included in Webb's place.

Jordan Hicks RP | CHW
Cardinals' Jordan Hicks: Activated by Cardinals
Hicks (elbow) was reinstated from the 60-day injured list Monday, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Hicks missed most of the 2021 campaign due to a right elbow injury, and he concluded a rehab assignment at the Arizona Fall League on Sunday. The righty is expected to compete for a major-league rotation spot during spring training in 2022, and he appears to be in line for a relatively normal offseason following his activation.

Cardinals' Jordan Hicks: Preparing for rotation spot in '22
Hicks (elbow) concluded his rehab stint at the Arizona Fall League on Sunday and is expected to compete for a spot in the big-league rotation during spring training, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports.
Hicks had served as a starter for most of his minor-league career, but because of his blazing fastball to go along with lesser-developed secondary offerings, the Cardinals viewed him as a better fit out of the bullpen upon summoning him to the majors in 2018. However, after Hicks missed most of 2019 and 2020 while recovering from Tommy John surgery and then experienced inflammation in his elbow last spring that prevented him from pitching at the big-league level in 2021, the Cardinals may be rethinking his role. While Hicks' lack of innings over the last three seasons mean he'll almost certainly be under some sort of workload restriction if he indeed enters 2022 as a starter, the move out of the bullpen could actually help the 25-year-old from a durability standpoint. Without having to routinely pitch at extreme velocities in relief and adjusting his mechanics as he prepares for starting duty, Hicks could have a better chance at avoiding the recurring elbow problems that have stalled his career.

Tyler Matzek RP | NYY
Braves' Tyler Matzek: Earns pennant-clinching win
Matzek picked up the win in Game 6 of the NLCS against the Dodgers on Saturday, striking out four batters across a pair of scoreless innings.
Atlanta starter Ian Anderson was ineligible for the win after throwing just four innings, so Matzek received the well-deserved honor. The lefty entered with none out in the top of the seventh and the tying run on second base but proceeded to strike out Albert Pujols, Steven Souza and Mookie Betts. He remained in the game for the eighth inning and retired the side. It's been a remarkable postseason for the veteran, who appeared in five of the six NLCS games against the Dodgers after appearing in all four NLDS games against the Brewers. He's allowed just two runs on four hits in 10.1 innings over that run, striking out 17 while walking four.

Justin Bruihl RP | STL
Dodgers' Justin Bruihl: Dealing with soreness
Bruihl may not be ready to go for Game 6 of the NLCS against Atlanta on Saturday after experiencing soreness in his arm while warming up Thursday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Bruihl tossed 18.2 innings with a 2.89 ERA in the regular season and has thrown two scoreless innings thus far in the playoffs. He's yet to be removed from the team's playoff roster, but it's a real possibility he will be if he's unable to contribute in a must-win game.

Joe Kelly RP | LAD
Dodgers' Joe Kelly: Dropped from NLCS roster
Kelly (biceps) was dropped from the Dodgers' NLCS roster Friday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
The move means Kelly will be ineligible to pitch in the World Series should the Dodgers advance, but that was already going to be the case, as the biceps strain he suffered in Game 5 on Thursday will keep him out for the rest of the year. Whether or not the injury will still be an issue at the start of spring training is not yet clear. David Price will replace him on the playoff roster.

Joe Kelly RP | LAD
Dodgers' Joe Kelly: Done for season
Kelly (biceps) will not pitch again this season, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Kelly served as the opener in Game 5 of the NLCS on Thursday but was forced out of the game early due to a right biceps strain. He won't pitch again this season, but a clearer timeline has yet to be determined.

Dodgers' Joe Kelly: Injury to biceps
Kelly exited Game 5 of the NLCS against Atlanta on Thursday with right biceps tightness, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.
Kelly was originally reported to be dealing with a shoulder injury, though the team quickly announced the biceps issue. He served as the opener in the contest but lasted only 28 pitches and recorded two outs. Prior to being removed, Kelly allowed a two-run home run to Freddie Freeman.
