Kelly (biceps) was dropped from the Dodgers' NLCS roster Friday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
The move means Kelly will be ineligible to pitch in the World Series should the Dodgers advance, but that was already going to be the case, as the biceps strain he suffered in Game 5 on Thursday will keep him out for the rest of the year. Whether or not the injury will still be an issue at the start of spring training is not yet clear. David Price will replace him on the playoff roster.
