Trevor Gott RP | WAS
Brewers' Trevor Gott: Reinstated from injured list
Gott (groin) was reinstated from the 15-day injured list Saturday.
Gott was on the injured list since early June, but he began a rehab assignment at High-A Wisconsin this week and allowed three runs in two innings. The right-hander worked his way into some setup duties prior to his absence, as he picked up seven holds while posting a 3.86 ERA and 1.05 WHIP in 21 innings over 22 appearances to begin the year.

Brusdar Graterol RP | LAD
Dodgers' Brusdar Graterol: Notches hold Friday
Graterol earned a hold against Atlanta on Friday, allowing one hit and no runs over two-thirds of an inning.
Daniel Hudson was called upon in the eighth inning as the bridge to closer Craig Kimbrel, but Hudson exited after one out due to a potentially serious ACL injury. Graterol was then summoned to finish the frame, and he threw all seven of his pitches for strikes and induced an inning-ending double play after giving up a Dansby Swanson single. The Dodgers fear that Hudson's injury could be season-ending, per Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times, which could result in Graterol taking his place as the team's primary high-leverage option before Kimbrel, at least until Blake Treinen (shoulder) returns. Graterol has pitched well of late, putting together 7.1 consecutive scoreless innings over seven outings, during which he has posted a 6:0 K:BB and picked up one win along with two holds.

Craig Kimbrel RP | TB
Dodgers' Craig Kimbrel: Notches 13th save
Kimbrel gave up a hit and struck out one in a scoreless ninth inning Friday to record his 13th save of the season in a 4-1 win over Atlanta.
The veteran closer hasn't been consistent lately, but he looked good against the club he broke into the majors with and for whom he posted one of most dominant runs ever by a reliever in the early 2010s. Kimbrel has only blown one save this season for the Dodgers despite a disappointing 4.30 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and 35:11 K:BB through 23 innings.

Genesis Cabrera RP | PHI
Cardinals' Genesis Cabrera: Placed on injured list
Cabrera was placed on the injured list for an unspecified reason Saturday.
The Cardinals didn't provide an injury designation for Cabrera's placement on the injured list, signaling that the southpaw is likely on the COVID-19 IL. If that's the case, he'll be eligible to return as soon as he clears the league's COVID-19 protocols, but his recovery timetable will depend on whether he's tested positive for the virus. Jake Woodford was recalled from Triple-A Memphis on Saturday, while Zack Thompson should see increased looks in high-leverage situations while Cabrera is sidelined.
-
Edwin Diaz RP | LAD
Mets' Edwin Diaz: Nails down 15th save
Diaz gave up two hits in a scoreless ninth inning Friday to record his 15th save of the season in a 5-3 win over the Marlins.
Both hits were singles, and one of the baserunners was erased when Tomas Nido caught Jon Berti stealing -- the first time the Miami speedster has been denied a steal since April 28. Diaz hasn't blown a save in a month, and he sports a dominant 1.13 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 16:1 K:BB through eight innings in June.

Connor Brogdon RP | CLE
Phillies' Connor Brogdon: Heading to COVID-19 IL
Brogdon (undisclosed) was placed on the COVID-19 injured list after Friday's loss to the Padres, Alex Coffey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Brogdon didn't appear in Friday's contest and will now step away from the team until he clears the league's COVID-19 protocols. It's not clear if the 27-year-old tested positive for the virus, so there's no indication of how long he'll be sidelined.

Taylor Rogers RP | MIN
Padres' Taylor Rogers: Delivers shaky save
Rogers saved Friday's 1-0 win against the Phillies, allowing two hits and a walk with one strikeout in a scoreless ninth inning.
Rogers entered in the ninth with a one-run lead and loaded the bases with two out, but he was able to induce a deep Kyle Schwarber flyout to secure his league-leading 22nd save. The 31-year-old fired 22 of 29 pitches for strikes -- surpassing 20 pitches for the seventh time in 31 games -- as the two hits he surrendered both came on 0-2 counts. Rogers has slowed down notably as the season's progressed, allowing eight runs and 11 baserunners in his last 9.2 innings across 11 appearances.

David Robertson RP | PHI
Cubs' David Robertson: Bounces back Friday
Robertson hit a batter and struck out one in a scoreless inning to earn the save in Friday's 3-0 win over the Cardinals.
Robertson blew the save Thursday versus the Pirates, but Cubs manager David Ross went right back to him Friday. Outside of plunking Brendan Donovan, Robertson was solid to earn his ninth save in 12 chances this season. The 37-year-old reliever has added a 1.95 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 37:13 K:BB across 27.2 innings, performing admirably as the Cubs' closer, though their poor 27-44 record hasn't afforded him a ton of save opportunities.
-
Nick Wittgren RP | SEA
Cardinals' Nick Wittgren: Covers two scoreless innings
Wittgren allowed a hit and struck out one in two scoreless innings during Friday's 3-0 loss to the Cubs.
Wittgren has strung together 5.2 scoreless innings across his last four appearances, which is his longest shutout streak of the year by innings. With a 4.82 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and 16:10 K:BB in 28 innings overall, he's had his fair share of inconsistency, but he seems to be in good form in a low-leverage role. The right-hander has added a save and four holds with a 1-0 record, but he's a few rungs lower on the ladder than the Cardinals' top high-leverage arms in Ryan Helsley, Giovanny Gallegos and Genesis Cabrera.

Andre Pallante SP | STL
Cardinals' Andre Pallante: Gets no help in loss
Pallante (2-3) allowed three runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out two in six innings, taking the loss Friday versus the Cubs.
Pallante has now taken the loss in three straight appearances, though this one can be blamed on the Cardinals' lack of offense. They mustered just seven baserunners (five hits, one walk, one hit batter) while giving Pallante no run support. The rookie right-hander still has a strong 2.03 ERA, but his 1.38 WHIP and 31:21 K:BB remain lackluster through 22 outings (four starts). He's pitched fairly well in his starts to maintain a place in the rotation, with Friday being his longest outing of the season. He's projected for a favorable home start versus the Marlins next week.
