Andre Jackson RP | PIT
Dodgers' Andre Jackson: Once again in Triple-A
Jackson was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.
With David Price (wrist) being reinstated from the injured list Tuesday, Jackson will change levels for the sixth time this month. The 26-year-old reliever has made three appearances for the Dodgers this season, his latest being a three-scoreless-inning performance Sunday against St. Louis.

Cory Abbott RP | SEA
Nationals' Cory Abbott: Fans seven in fourth loss
Abbott (0-4) took the loss Monday, giving up five runs (four earned) on three hits and three walks over five innings as the Nationals were routed 8-0 by Atlanta. He struck out seven.
The rookie right-hander got little help from his offense or defense, but Abbott also did himself no favors by serving up homers to Matt Olson in the fourth inning and Marcell Ozuna in the fifth. Abbott has a 5.59 ERA, 1.55 WHIP and 16:9 K:BB through 19.1 innings in September, and he'll likely make one more appearance this season against the Phillies over the weekend.

Yency Almonte RP | LAD
Dodgers' Yency Almonte: Nearing activation
Almonte (elbow) completed his third minor-league rehab outing Sunday and is expected to return to the Dodgers on Wednesday, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Almonte gave up two runs over two-thirds of an inning for Triple-A Oklahoma on Sunday, though both scored after he exited the contest. The right-hander looked fine despite the unpleasant stat line, throwing 10 of 16 pitches for strikes and getting unlucky on one of the hits (a bloop single). Dodgers manager Dave Roberts has indicated that Almonte will be activated Wednesday as long as he doesn't encounter any physical setbacks, and the veteran reliever should return to a prominent place in the team's bullpen after posting a 1.15 ERA, 0.89 WHIP and 30:10 K:BB while notching seven holds and a save over his first 29 outings.

Tommy Nance RP | TOR
Marlins' Tommy Nance: Beginning rehab assignment
Nance (groin) will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Jacksonville on Monday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
Nance is eligible to return from the injured list late this week, and the start of his rehab assignment signals that he'll likely be in the mix to rejoin the Marlins' bullpen prior to the end of the regular season. Since the right-hander usually has short appearances out of the bullpen, it seems likely that he'll be cleared to return following a brief rehab stint.

Dakota Hudson SP | LAA
Cardinals' Dakota Hudson: Pitches out of bullpen Saturday
Hudson tossed three scoreless innings out of the bullpen in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Dodgers. He didn't strike out a batter and allowed two hits and one walk in the 45-pitch appearance.
When Hudson was recalled from Triple-A Memphis on Wednesday, manager Oliver Marmol hinted the right-hander could rejoin the rotation, according to John Denton of MLB.com. The Cardinals ultimately chose to keep a five-man rotation intact, but Hudson was still called upon to provide some length out of the bullpen after starter Jordan Montgomery lasted just four innings in Saturday's outing. With two off days during the upcoming week, Hudson will likely remain in the bullpen, but he could make a spot start at some point in the final few days of the regular season if the Cardinals want to give Jack Flaherty or Adam Wainwright a more extended break in advance of the playoffs.

Alexis Diaz RP | TEX
Reds' Alexis Diaz: Picks up ninth save
Diaz earned the save Sunday against Milwaukee, striking out the side in the ninth inning of a 2-1 victory.
Facing the heart of the Brewers' lineup, Diaz needed 14 pitches to fan all three batters. It was his ninth save of the season and third since Sept. 15. Since the All-Star break he's posted a 1.37 ERA, 0.80 WHIP and 36:10 K:BB in 26.1 innings while closing out six games and holding opposing batters to a .128 batting average.

Camilo Doval RP | NYY
Giants' Camilo Doval: Earns save despite allowing run
Doval picked up the save Sunday against Arizona. He allowed one run on one hit and one walk while striking out one over one inning.
Doval entered the game up 3-1 but allowed a leadoff double to Christian Walker, who later scored on a sacrifice fly to trim the lead to 3-2. The closer then struck out Corbin Carroll to end the game and record his 26th save of the season. Sunday was the first time that Doval has allowed a run to score in September, and he is now 8-for-8 in save opportunities in the month.

Jake Junis RP | TEX
Giants' Jakob Junis: Goes 5.1 innings in relief for win
Junis (5-6) earned the win Sunday against the Diamondbacks. He allowed one run on four hits and one walk while striking out seven over 5.1 innings.
Manager Gabe Kapler went with Scott Alexander as the opener Sunday, and Junis came in relief with two outs in the third inning. He threw 5.1 innings of one-run ball en route to his first win since June 10. Additionally, his seven punchouts on the day are tied for the most he's recorded in his last 14 appearances. He has a 4.28 ERA through 107.1 innings this season.

Drey Jameson RP | ARI
Diamondbacks' Drey Jameson: Tosses 5.1 scoreless innings
Jameson did not factor into the decision Sunday, allowing no runs on five hits and three walks over 5.1 innings against the Giants. He struck out five.
Jameson continued his strong start to his big-league career, as he did not allow a run for the second time in three starts. The rookie showed poise on the mound as the scoreless outing came despite being forced into the stretch in each of the six innings in which he appeared. Jameson was hit hard in Triple-A to the tune of a 6.95 ERA through 114 innings this season, so it's fair to question whether his breakout is sustainable.

Scott Alexander RP | SF
Giants' Scott Alexander: Scoreless inning as opener
Alexander did not factor into the decision in one inning as the opener Sunday against Arizona. He allowed one hit and did not allow a walk or a run.
Alexander got the nod as the opener Sunday and recorded a scoreless inning, marking seven consecutive appearances without allowing a run. The 33-year-old has played a bit of a utility role for Arizona, as in the month of September, he has two saves, five holds and an appearance as the opener. In 10.2 innings this month, he owns a 1.76 ERA and 6:1 K:BB.
