Jose Marte RP | LAA
Angels' Jose Marte: Recalled from Triple-A
The Angels recalled Marte from Triple-A Salt Lake on Thursday.
After losing four members of their pitching staff via waiver claims Thursday, Marte will come up from the minors to help replenish lost depth in the Angels' bullpen. The 27-year-old righty has spent most of the season working his way back from an elbow injury, and he holds a 7.80 ERA and 2.20 WHIP across 15 major-league innings in his career.

Michael Kelly RP | ATH
Guardians' Michael Kelly: Ready for rehab assignment
Kelly (back) will begin a rehab assignment Thursday with Double-A Akron.
Kelly landed on the 15-day injured list two weeks ago, so he'll likely require only one or two tune-up outings in the minors before being ready to rejoin the Cleveland bullpen. Prior to being deactivated, Kelly posted a 2.84 ERA and 1.26 WHIP over 12.2 innings across 11 relief appearances.

Devin Sweet RP | BOS
Mariners' Devin Sweet: DFA'd by Seattle
The Mariners designated Sweet for assignment Thursday, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.
In order to make room on the roster for Dominic Leone, who was claimed off waivers from the Angels on Thursday, Sweet will be pushed off the 40-man roster. The 26-year-old righty made just two appearances in the majors this season, allowing two runs over two innings of work.

Joey Krehbiel RP | TB
Orioles' Joey Krehbiel: Will be recalled Friday
Krehbiel will be recalled from Triple-A Norfolk on Friday when rosters expand, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
Krehbiel has gone back-and-forth between the majors and minors a few times this season but has appeared in just two games for the Orioles, tossing 1.2 scoreless frames. He'll be used in low-leverage situations down the stretch.

Davis Daniel RP | CIN
Angels' Davis Daniel: Strikes out 10 in rehab start
Daniel (shoulder) struck out 10 and allowed four runs (three earned) on five hits and three walks over 5.1 innings in his latest rehab start Tuesday for Single-A Inland Empire.
Daniel made the sixth start of his rehab assignment Tuesday and his fourth in a row in the California League, where he's produced a 1.77 ERA and 0.98 WHIP while striking out 28 over 20.1 innings. With the right-hander's 30-day rehab window nearing its end, he should be activated from the Angels' 60-day injured list within the next few days. However, since the 26-year-old right-hander has yet to make his MLB debut, the Angels may not be willing to include him in the big-league rotation right away and could instead option him to either Double-A Rocket City or Triple-A Salt Lake upon his reinstatement.

Dominic Leone RP | CHW
Mariners' Dominic Leone: Goes to Mariners in waiver claim
Leone was claimed off waivers by the Mariners on Thursday, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.
Leone holds a 4.74 ERA and 44:20 K:BB across 43.2 innings of relief work for the Mets and Angels this season. It's a homecoming of sorts for Leone, who came up in the Mariners system and debuted for them back in 2014. He will be used in middle relief for the American League West leaders.

Matt Moore RP | BOS
Guardians' Matt Moore: Lands with Guardians
Moore was claimed off waivers by the Guardians on Thursday, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.
The Guardians were busy Thursday, adding Moore and Reynaldo Lopez to their bullpen and Lucas Giolito to their rotation via the waiver process. Moore has had an excellent season, putting up a 2.66 ERA and 49:12 K:BB over 44 frames as a setup man for the Halos. He'll give Cleveland a left-handed bridge to closer Emmanuel Clase.

Reynaldo Lopez RP | ATL
Guardians' Reynaldo Lopez: Added by Cleveland via waivers
Lopez was claimed off waivers by the Guardians on Thursday, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.
Cleveland scooped up Lopez, Matt Moore and Lucas Giolito from the Angels via waivers, taking on their salaries but not having to give up any players in the process. Lopez has posted a 3.93 ERA and 71:30 K:BB over 55 relief innings for the White Sox and Angels this season. He will give the Guardians a capable setup man ahead of closer Emmanuel Clase.

Kirby Snead RP | SEA
Athletics' Kirby Snead: Takes second loss Wednesday
Snead (1-2) took the loss against the Mariners on Wednesday, allowing two earned runs on three hits and a walk over one-third of an inning. He struck out one.
Snead was tasked with preserving a 4-3 lead when he entered in the seventh inning, but he put the first three men he faced on base and ultimately allowed a two-run single to J.P. Crawford that gave the Mariners a one-run advantage they wouldn't relinquish. The southpaw's stumble snapped a 10-appearance streak without allowing an earned run and shot Snead's 1.86 ERA and 1.14 WHIP to 3.60 and 1.50, respectively.

The setup man has a 2.78 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, 63:18 K:BB, two saves and 24 holds over 58.1 innings this year. He continues to frequently fill the eighth-inning role ahead of closer Emmanuel Clase.
