Scott (0-2) took the loss in the first game of Thursday's doubleheader versus the Mariners. He allowed two runs on two hits and a walk with two strikeouts in one inning.

Scott relieved starter Matt Harvey in the fifth inning and got Kyle Seager to ground out to end the frame. In the sixth, Scott allowed a two-out, two-run double to J.P. Crawford that gave the Mariners a 4-2 lead. That was the final score, leaving Scott with his second loss in three days. The southpaw has a 3.38 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 9:3 K:BB across 5.1 innings this season. Despite the recent struggles, he'll likely continue to see high-leverage work in the near future.

Graveman threw a clean seventh inning while striking out one to earn the save in the first game of Thursday's doubleheader against the Orioles.

Rafael Montero pitched the sixth inning in a setup role, with Graveman coming on to pitch in the final frame. He was effective in preserving the lead and didn't allow a baserunner. Graveman now has converted the team's last two successful saves -- the first coming after Montero blew an opportunity -- so it appears that he has at least a share of the closer role in Seattle.

Payamps was recalled by the Blue Jays on Thursday.

Payamps was called up in a corresponding move to Jordan Romano (elbow) landing on the injured list. He's already thrown four innings for the Blue Jays this season, allowing no earned runs while posting a 4:1 K:BB. The team will rely on Payamps in a bullpen now missing key players such as Tyler Chatwood (triceps), Julian Merryweather (oblique) and Romano, though he isn't likely to immediately earn a high-leverage role.

Romano was placed on the 10-day injured list with right ulnar neuritis Thursday.

Romano was expected to see save opportunities in the absence of Julian Merryweather (oblique). However, he's now dealing with an arm issue of his own, and it's unclear how long his absence will extend. Rafael Dolis figures to be to the top candidate to step into the ninth-inning role in the currently depleted Blue Jays bullpen.

Colome (1-1) picked up the win Thursday after tossing a scoreless ninth frame against the Red Sox. He allowed one hit and no walks while striking out two.

Colome came into a tied ninth inning and held things in check to position Minnesota for the win. The 32-year-old let Christian Arroyo break through with a double but otherwise stood his ground. It was a reassuring bounce-back outing for Colome after he imploded for three runs on four hits in his last appearance. Colome has tallied two saves so far this season.

Sulser was returned to the Orioles' alternate training site Thursday, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Sulser was called up as the 27th man for Thursday's doubleheader against Seattle. He appeared in the second game of the twin bill and allowed one hit and no walks while striking out two in one scoreless inning. Despite having tossed three scoreless innings in two relief appearances this year, he'll continue to work at the team's alternate camp.

Puk (biceps) recently threw from 90 feet, Matt Kawahara of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Puk's recent throwing session marked just his second since he was placed on the 10-day injured list due to a left biceps strain April 7. Manager Bob Melvin said Thursday that Puk still doesn't have a timetable for his return, but it's encouraging to see the southpaw resume throwing.

Kay has been recalled by the Blue Jays to start Thursday's game against the Royals, Rob Longley of the Toronto Sun reports.

Kay was sent to the Blue Jays' alternate training site to begin the regular season, but he'll make his season debut Thursday after Ross Stripling (forearm) was placed on the 10-day injured list. The southpaw made 13 relief appearances for Toronto last year, posting a 5.14 ERA and 1.71 WHIP in 21 innings. Since the Blue Jays have two scheduled off days next week, it's not yet clear whether Kay will remain in the rotation after starting Thursday's game.

Jimenez was recalled by the Tigers on Thursday.

Jimenez failed to break camp with the Tigers this year but will join the major-league bullpen after outfielder Nomar Mazara (abdomen) was placed on the 10-day injured list Thursday. The right-hander led the Tigers with five saves in 2020, but it's not yet clear whether he'll factor into the late-inning mix for Detroit in the near future.

Green (0-2) recorded no outs before yielding a walkoff solo home run to earn the loss in Wednesday's 5-4 defeat against Toronto.

The righty had previously been stellar in 2021, not allowing a single earned run and walking only one batter in 7.2 innings pitched before Bo Bichette launched a hanging slider out to the opposite field Wednesday. Regardless, Green remains New York's most reliable high-leverage reliever after Aroldis Chapman for the time being, and he'll still have a critical role once Zack Britton (elbow) returns later in the season.
