The Tigers placed Lange (shoulder) on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a right shoulder strain.

Lange exited Monday's game after suffering the injury. The righty has been an oft-used yet unreliable relief option for the Tigers, posting a 7.31 ERA and allowing five home runs in 16 innings this season.

Cleveland recalled Morgan from Triple-A Columbus on Tuesday, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.

The righty's major-league debut May 28 was a disaster, as he allowed six runs on eight hits in just 2.2 innings against the Blue Jays. Morgan hasn't been exceptional in Triple-A either this season, posting a 4.67 ERA in 17.1 innings across four starts. Regardless, he will likely be called upon to make multiple starts while Shane Bieber (shoulder) spends time on the injured list.

Merryweather (oblique) isn't expected to return from the 60-day injured list until late June at minimum, Scott Mitchell of TSN.ca reports.

Merryweather is eligible to rejoin the Blue Jays beginning this week, but he still has multiple hurdles to clear in the recovery process for his left oblique strain before he'll be available to pitch. Considering that Toronto hasn't even outlined a timeline for Merryweather to begin a minor-league rehab assignment, it wouldn't be surprising if his absence stretches into July or even through the All-Star break.

Sewald (3-2) pitched a clean eighth inning while striking out a batter and picked up the win Monday against the Twins.

Sewald had a nice bounce-back performance with a stress-free inning after taking a loss against Cleveland over the weekend. The Mariners were able to pull ahead in the bottom half of the eighth, awarding Sewald his third win of the year. The 31-year-old has been pretty reliable out of the bullpen this season with a 2.57 ERA and a 23:8 K:BB over 14 innings.

Taylor struck out three over 1.1 innings in Monday's 2-1 win over the Blue Jays.

Taylor, who hasn't allowed a run over his last 18 outings (14 innings), is getting more leverage work out of Boston's bullpen. The left-hander has quietly moved up the bullpen pecking order to the point where he's in the late-inning mix behind top setup man Adam Ottavino. Taylor's ERA was 9.72 on April 24, but he's whittled it down to 3.63 (2.56 FIP) during his scoreless run.

Robles (2-3) suffered the loss Monday against the Mariners after allowing one run on two hits and a walk while striking out one batter over an inning of work.

Robles entered in the eighth with the score knotted at three apiece. He struck out the first batter but then gave up a solo home run to Jake Bauers that ended up being the difference in the game. The 30-year-old struggled early in the year but has turned things around for the most part, as he's posted a 2.40 ERA with five saves, four holds and two wins over the last month, though his 17:10 K:BB in that span isn't promising. The Twins still haven't established a clear-cut closer, with Taylor Rogers still in the mix for saves as well.

Fairbanks tossed a perfect ninth inning to record his third save of the season in Monday's 5-2 win over the White Sox.

J.P. Feyereisen worked the sixth and seventh innings and Diego Castillo the eighth, leaving closing duties to Fairbanks. The 27-year-old has been brilliant in June, racking up two saves and two holds over six appearances with a 0.00 ERA and 6:2 K:BB, but it's always tough to predict how manager Kevin Cash will deploy his high-leverage crew in any particular game.

Feyereisen (3-2) picked up the win Monday, striking out two over two perfect innings of relief in a 5-2 victory over the White Sox.

An early exit for Tyler Glasnow (elbow) put the win up for grabs, and Feyereisen was judged to be the most effective of Tampa Bay's relievers by the official scorer after shutting down Chicago in the sixth and seventh frames. The 28-year-old has yet to see a save opportunity in June, but he's racked up two wins and two holds without allowing a run in 5.2 innings despite a shaky 5:8 K:BB.

Clase struck out two in a perfect ninth inning Monday to record his 10th save of the season in a 4-3 win over the Orioles.

The right-hander continues to dominate as Cleveland's 1A closer alongside 1B option James Karinchak -- Clase has 10 saves in 11 chances plus two holds on the season, while Karinchak is 7-for-8 in save opportunities with six holds. Over his last 12 appearances, Clase has a 0.73 ERA and 15 strikeouts in 12.1 innings, and his ability to limit hard contact has allowed him to avoid much damage from his 10 walks during that stretch.

Sandlin (1-0) picked up the win in Monday's 4-3 victory over the Orioles, striking out three batters over 1.2 perfect innings of relief.

The rookie right-hander took over from Jean Carlos Mejia with a 3-2 lead to begin the fifth inning, and Sandlin fired 15 of 22 pitches for strikes to earn his first win in the majors. The 24-year-old has been almost untouchable in June, posting a 0.00 ERA and 11:2 K:BB through 5.2 innings while allowing only one hit, so Sandlin is making a strong case for a consistent high-leverage role.
