The Angels optioned Peters to Triple-A Salt Lake on Tuesday.
The southpaw didn't appear in a game after being recalled Sunday, making it two stints on the big-league roster this season without throwing a single pitch. Peters has a 5.52 ERA with 11 home runs allowed in 31 minor-league innings in 2021, though he does have a respectable 40:8 K:BB. James Hoyt was recalled in a corresponding move.
