Winckowski allowed five runs on six hits while striking out six over six-plus innings for Triple-A Worcester on Sunday.

Winckowski dealt through the first six innings before the first four batters reached base in the seventh. All four came around to score, giving the appearance of a poor outing for the right-hander. His next start could come as a member of the Red Sox, who have a doubleheader scheduled for Saturday, which would be the right-hander's next day to pitch. Boston manager Alex Cora hinted that one of the starters for the doubleheader would come from the minors, and Winckowski lines up as a logical choice.

Perez (2-0) earned the win Sunday versus the Rays. He allowed a hit and two walks while striking out three in two scoreless innings.

Perez worked the 10th and 11th innings after a rain delay, and he was able to keep the Rays at bay long enough for the Orioles to get the win. Through eight appearances in May, the southpaw has allowed just one run in 7.2 innings. He owns a 0.66 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and 15:7 K:BB with three holds in 16 outings overall. His solid pitching, albeit somewhat lucky, has earned him a high-leverage relief role.

Clarke allowed four runs on four hits without recording an out in Sunday's 7-6 loss to the Twins.

Clarke got the ball for the eighth inning after Brady Singer tossed seven shutout frames. The Royals led 6-0 when Clarke entered, but he allowed four straight singles before Scott Barlow took over and struggled in his own right. It's been ugly of late for Clarke, who has allowed nine runs (seven earned) in his last four appearances after a solid start to the year. The right-hander has a 4.91 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 11:0 K:BB in 14.2 innings after Sunday's messy outing. He's added a save, three holds and a blown save in 16 appearances.

Staumont (1-1) took the loss Sunday versus the Twins. He allowed two runs on two hits and two walks with two strikeouts in one inning.

Staumont got the last out of the eighth inning after Taylor Clarke and Scott Barlow worked into a jam. He returned for the ninth, but Staumont got into trouble himself, allowing a sacrifice fly to Gary Sanchez and the go-ahead run on a two-out Gio Urshela single. Sunday's outing ended Staumont's 3.2-inning scoreless streak. The 28-year-old owns a 4.32 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 24:9 K:BB across 16.2 innings. He's logged three saves, two holds and three blown saves in 18 appearances.

Krehbiel allowed a run on three hits and no walks while striking out two in three innings during Sunday's win over the Rays. He didn't factor into the decision.

The right-hander was called upon to serve as a bulk reliever Sunday after Spenser Watkins (forearm) was hit by a comebacker in the top of the first inning. Krehbiel responded with his longest outing of the season while throwing 42 pitches. The 29-year-old has been used mainly as a setup man recently, and he's picked up four holds in his last seven appearances.

Banks was optioned to Triple-A Charlotte following Sunday's doubleheader against the Yankees.

Banks began the season on the major-league roster and tossed 12.2 scoreless innings over his first seven relief appearances in 2022. However, he gave up 10 runs (six earned) in 5.1 innings over his last four outings and will attempt to sort things out in the minors.

Duran struck out two and earned a save with a perfect inning against the Royals on Sunday.

Duran threw 14 of 17 pitches for strikes and forced five whiffs in a dominant outing to earn his third save. The 24-year-old flamethrower threw seven fastballs in the appearance, all ranging between 100-102 miles per hour. He lowered his season ERA to 2.66 with an outstanding 31:3 K:BB through 20.1 innings.

Soto pitched a clean ninth inning to record the save in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Guardians.

The ninth inning started ominously, as Soto hit leadoff man Josh Naylor. However, the lefty retired the next batter, then got Andres Gimenez to ground into a double play to end the game. Soto has had a few hiccups this season, but he now has seven saves in eight chances to go with a solid 2.92 ERA. He's also pitched well lately with no runs allowed and three saves in his last three appearances. Manager A.J. Hinch has shown confidence in Soto despite some ups and downs, and fantasy managers should continue to do the same while he remains Detroit's closer.

Iglesias struck out all three batters he faced as he earned the save in a 4-1 victory Sunday over Oakland.

Facing the middle of the Oakland lineup, Iglesias needed just 12 pitches to strike out the side. It was his second straight excellent outing after losing consecutive appearances. The veteran is 10-for-11 in save opportunities and has a solid 22:4 K:BB despite having a 4.02 ERA. As long as he can keep the ball in the park, his numbers should continue to improve and look more like the high-level closer he has been in recent history.

Hendriks saved a 3-1 victory in Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader against the Yankees, striking out two in a scoreless ninth inning.

After Chicago took the lead in the top of the ninth, Hendriks was brought in to close out the victory and sat down all three Yankees on 17 pitches. Following consecutive blown saves earlier this month, the 33-year-old has converted four straight opportunities and lowered his ERA nearly a full run to 3.72.
