Hearn (2-3) took the loss during Sunday's 5-2 defeat against the Astros, allowing four runs on six hits and two walks with two strikeouts in 4.2 innings.

Hearn was done in by the top of Houston's order Sunday, with the top five batters in the lineup accounting for all the damage except for one hit. The 27-year-old has now failed to surpass five innings in any of his eight starts, and Hearn has walked multiple batters in each of his last four games. He'll carry a 5.77 ERA into a start projected to come next weekend against Oakland.

Pressly notched the save during Sunday's 5-2 victory against the Rangers, allowing two hits in two-thirds of an inning.

Pressly entered with two on and one out in a four-run game and served up singles to the first two Rangers but was able to induce a Jonah Heim double play with the bases loaded to end the game. The 33-year-old recorded his sixth save in 10 appearances, though his strikeout rate is down to 20.6 percent after sitting above 30 percent in each of his past four seasons.

Manager Aaron Boone said after the first game of Sunday's doubleheader against the White Sox that Chapman is receiving treatment for an Achilles injury, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

Chapman entered Sunday's matinee with the score tied at 1-1 in the bottom of the ninth inning, and he gave up a leadoff home run to AJ Pollock. After forcing a flyout, the southpaw was visited by a trainer but ultimately remained in the game and gave up another run. In total, Chapman allowed two runs on two hits and a walk while failing to record a strikeout in one-third of an inning to take the loss. While the 34-year-old's injury likely contributed to his struggles Sunday, he's now given up at least one run in each of his last five appearances, and Clay Holmes' strong results this year could allow him to see increased save chances if Chapman continues to struggle.

The Athletics list Logue as their probable starter for Monday's game against the Mariners in Seattle, Matt Kawahara of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Oakland recalled Logue from Triple-A Las Vegas on Friday while placing Daulton Jefferies (arm) on the 15-day injured list in a corresponding move, and after he wasn't needed in the bullpen during the Athletics' weekend series with the Angels, Logue will end up taking Jefferies' spot in the rotation. Over his three starts with Oakland this season, Logue has turned in a 2.20 ERA and 1.16 WHIP across 16.1 innings, but his 19.1 K% leaves more to be desired.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Sunday that Green (elbow) will soon undergo Tommy John surgery, Pete Caldera of The Bergen Record reports.

Even if the procedure to repair the torn ligament in Green's elbow goes smoothly, he'll still miss the remainder of the 2022 season and likely the majority of the 2023 campaign while rehabbing and recovering from surgery. After collecting 19 holds and striking out 99 over 83.2 innings in 2021, Green had fallen down a rung or two in the Yankees' late-inning hierarchy in 2022 with Clay Holmes and Michael King capturing more prominent roles in the bullpen. Green was still effective before suffering the elbow injury, turning in a 3.00 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 16:5 K:BB across 15 innings while nabbing three holds and one save.

Bummer (knee) was activated from the 15-day injured list and will serve as the 27th man for Sunday's doubleheader against the Yankees.

Bummer has been sidelined the last couple weeks by a right knee strain, but he'll rejoin the active roster without requiring a minor-league rehab assignment. The 28-year-old is likely to remain on the big-league roster beyond Sunday, so the White Sox will need to send down another player after the twin bill.

The Rays transferred Chargois (oblique) from the 10-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Sunday.

Chargois looked like a candidate to return from a six-week stint on the 10-day IL at some point during the upcoming week, but those plans were nixed after he aggravated the oblique injury during his rehab appearance Friday at Triple-A Durham. Per Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times, Chargois suffered a Grade 2 oblique strain while warming up Friday, so he'll likely be on the shelf for at least another month.

The Rays placed Kittredge (back) on the 15-day injured list Sunday.

The transaction is retroactive Thursday, three days after Kittredge made his most recent appearance out of the Tampa Bay bullpen. The Rays were hopeful that Kittredge would need only a few days of rest to overcome his bout with lower-back tightness, but he didn't progress quite as quickly as anticipated. While Kittredge -- Tampa Bay's team leader with five saves -- is sidelined, the Rays could turn to Brooks Raley as their main option at closer.

Bolanos (undisclosed) was activated from the injured list Sunday.

Given that Bolanos spent only two days on the injured list, it was likely for a COVID-19-related reason that didn't result in an extended absence. The right-hander will resume his usual multi-inning role in the bullpen. Foster Griffin was optioned to Triple-A Omaha in a corresponding move.

Coleman was optioned to Triple-A Omaha on Sunday.

Coleman surrendered four runs over his last two outings and will now head to the minors. Overall he has a 4.02 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 21:15 K:BB across 15.2 innings this season, and he could rejoin the big-league club later in the year. Brady Singer, who is starting Sunday against Minnesota, was promoted from Omaha in a corresponding move.
