Jansen (1-2) blew the save and took the loss Saturday against the Cardinals. He allowed three runs on one hit and three walks with no strikeouts over one inning.

Jansen failed to convert a save opportunity for the second straight game, giving up three runs and three walks in the top of the ninth after Chris Sale handed him a 3-1 lead. The typically reliable closer has been off his game recently, giving up six runs over his last two appearances and blowing three of his last six save chances. However, given his pedigree and track record of ninth inning success, Jansen's job appears to be safe, though the Red Sox could give other relievers some closing looks if his struggles continue.

Lopez allowed one earned run on two hits while striking out one across two-thirds of an inning in Saturday's game against the Astros.

Lopez entered the game in the seventh inning with the task of protecting a one-run lead. He allowed a pair of singles prior to being pulled but was charged with a run after Joe Kelly allowed an inherited runner to score. Lopez has now allowed at least one earned run in four of his last six appearances, during which he's also tallied one save while blowing two opportunities and also taking a loss. Meanwhile, Kendall Graveman has picked up each of the White Sox's last two saves. That combination certainly suggests Lopez isn't currently an option in the mix to serve as the team's closer, and it won't get any better for him once teammate Liam Hendriks returns to the mix.

Loup (hamstring) felt good after throwing a bullpen session Saturday, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

The bullpen session was already Loup's second since he hit the injured list with a strained right hamstring on Friday, and he's scheduled to throw a third on Monday. He'll be eligible to return next Saturday.

Silseth is scheduled to start Tuesday's game against the Orioles, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

Silseth pitched exclusively as a starter last season but struggled to a 6.59 ERA in seven outings. He's worked out of the bullpen since his late-April call-up this season and owns a 3.24 ERA in 8.1 frames despite a 5:5 K:BB. With Jose Suarez shut down for a month due to left shoulder inflammation, Silseth seemingly has a chance to stake a long-term claim for a rotation spot.

Rodriguez was optioned to Triple-A St. Paul on Saturday, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

Rodriguez was with the big-league club for a full week but made just a single appearance, giving up a run in two-thirds of an inning Friday against the Cubs. Cole Sands will take his place in the bullpen.

Sands made the Twins' Opening Day roster but got into just two games before being demoted in mid-April. He returns nearly a month later with Dereck Rodriguez optioned to Triple-A.

Baker (3-0) didn't allow a baserunner and struck out two over 1.1 scoreless innings to earn the win Friday over the Pirates.

Baker entered with two outs in the seventh inning, and Adley Rutschman was able to catch Ji Hwan Bae stealing to end the frame. Baker then submitted a perfect eighth inning. The reliever has quietly emerged as one of the Orioles' most reliable arms, and his 19 appearances are tied for sixth most in the majors through Friday's action. The right-hander has delivered with a 1.89 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 24:11 K:BB while adding eight holds and a blown save.

Moore (3-1) earned the win over the Guardians on Friday, allowing one run on three hits and one walk while striking out one batter over two innings.

By most standards, this was actually Moore's worst outing of the campaign, as it was the first time in 17 trips to the mound that he has allowed multiple hits and just the third time he's allowed an earned run. However, a ninth-inning Angels comeback put the left-hander in line for his third victory of the campaign. Moore has been excellent out of the bullpen in his first season with the Angels, notching a team-high eight holds while registering a 1.35 ERA, 0.80 WHIP and 19:6 K:BB over 20 innings.

Winckowski allowed three runs on four hits over two-thirds of an inning in Friday's 8-6 loss to St. Louis.

It was a blown save for Winckowski, who came on in the sixth inning after Boston took a 4-2 lead. Winckowski has been dominant out of the bullpen; the right-hander entered Friday's game with a 1.50 ERA over 24 innings.

Holmes (1-2) earned the win over Tampa Bay on Friday, allowing one hit and no runs over two-thirds of an inning. He struck out one batter.

The Yankees carried a two-run lead into the eighth frame, but Michael King served up a three-run homer to Josh Lowe to cough up the advantage. With one out and one on, Holmes was summoned to try to prevent additional damage, and he was able to do so despite giving up a single to the first batter he faced. New York then took the lead back on a two-run shot by Anthony Rizzo in the bottom of the frame, lining Holmes up for his first victory of the campaign. Meanwhile, Wandy Peralta closed things out with a scoreless ninth to record his first save of the season. This was the fifth straight outing for Holmes in which he was used in a non-save situation, though he continues to see mostly high-leverage work and has allowed just one run while posting a 6:1 K:BB over four innings during that span. He may still be the most likely option for save chances in what has become an unsettled New York bullpen, but with his last save coming April 12 and four different Yankees relievers nabbing at least one save in the interim, it's clear that Holmes is more of a committee member than a full-time closer.
