Larnach is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rays.

It's lefty Jeffrey Springs on the hill for Tampa Bay, so the left-handed hitting Larnach will begin the festivities on the bench even after he cranked a three-run homer in Monday's win over the Rays. Austin Martin will be in left field.

Ohtani went 2-for-4 with two walks, two runs and three stolen bases in Monday's 11-6 victory versus Arizona.

Ohtani was in full leadoff-hitter mode Monday, reaches four times without an extra-base hit and running wild on the bases. The superstar slugger has been a terror on the basepaths for over five weeks, going a perfect 22-of-22 on theft attempts over his past 34 contests. Ohtani has added 13 home runs, 24 RBI, 30 runs and 15 walks during that span, and with 44 long balls and 46 steals on the season, his pursuit of MLB's first ever 50-50 campaign is well within reach.

Stanton went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in an 8-4 win against the Rangers on Monday.

Stanton drilled a 418-foot solo shot to center field in the eighth inning. The slugger has gone deep in each of his first two games in September and has knocked in five runs across his past three contests. Stanton's 25 homers and 62 RBI in 2024 are each more than he posted last season, and he's improved his slash line considerably to .244/.303/.503 through 383 plate appearances.

Larnach went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run, two walks and an additional run scored in Monday's 5-4 win over the Rays.

Larnach gave the Twins a lead they wouldn't relinquish on a three-run blast in the second inning. Over his past 10 games, the 27-year-old has gone hitless six times but has also notched three multi-hit efforts with three long balls and 11 RBI. On the year, he is hitting .254 with 15 home runs, 48 RBI, 47 runs scored and four steals across 331 plate appearances.

The Mets placed Martinez on the paternity list Monday, Will Sammon of The Athletic reports.

Martinez will be allowed to spend up to three days away from the Mets as he spends time with his expanding family. To fill his spot on the active roster, DJ Stewart was recalled from Triple-A Syracuse.

Manzardo will start at designated hitter and bat sixth in Monday's game versus the Royals.

Manzardo earned a second straight start after cranking his first two major-league home runs in Sunday's victory over the Pirates. The path is there for the 24-year-old to pick up regular playing time for the Guardians down the stretch, but he'll have to perform. Manzardo slashed just .207/.241/.329 with a 26.4 percent strikeout rate over 30 games in his first stint in the majors.

Jimenez is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the White Sox.

Following Ryan Mountcastle's (wrist) move to the injured list a week ago, Jimenez has moved into a near-everyday role for the Orioles, starting in seven of the last eight games. According to Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com, Anthony Santander may not be moving around at full speed after tripping while rounding first base in Sunday's 6-1 win over the Rockies, so he'll get a day out of the outfield and will serve as the designated hitter Monday, which leaves no room in the lineup for Jimenez. Assuming Santander is cleared to play the outfield later on in the series, Jimenez should reclaim a spot in the starting nine in short order.

Stanton went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a double and a walk in a loss to the Cardinals on Saturday.

Stanton hit the Yankees' only long ball in the contest, belting a solo shot to left field in the second inning. The slugger reached three times overall in the defeat, marking a fine start to September after he slashed .224/.286/.487 with five home runs and 15 RBI across 21 games in August. Each of Stanton's past four hits -- three doubles and a homer -- have gone for extra bases.

Alvarez went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs Sunday against the Royals.

Alvarez tallied multiple home runs for the second time in five games, bringing his total on the season to 30. His power has lagged for much of the campaign, but the recent surge has his ISO up to .257 along with a .571 slugging percentage through 128 games.

Foscue started at first base and went 0-for-2 with a walk and a run scored in Sunday's 6-4 extra-inning win over Oakland.

While the Rangers have not yet been eliminated from the postseason, the club faces a long haul -- 9.5 games back of the third wild-card spot -- over the final month. That suggests opportunities for prospects like Foscue, who could get some run at first base ahead of Nathaniel Lowe, whose contract expires this offseason.
