Turner (hamstring) expects to return to the lineup Wednesday, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.

The Dodgers' third baseman clarified that his absence Tuesday is due to a sore left toe, the result of being struck by a foul ball, and is not related to the leg cramp that forced him from Monday's game. Regardless, it sounds like Turner will be back Wednesday as he looks to finish his outstanding month of June (.931 OPS) on a high note.

Dickerson was recalled by the Padres on Tuesday.

With Jon Jay (forearm) landing on the disabled list Tuesday, Dickerson was recalled to add some depth to the Padres' outfield. Dickerson leads the Pacific Coast League in both average (.382) and OPS (1.047) in 217 at-bats with El Paso this season. However, he did struggle a bit in his short stint with the big league club earlier in the season, slashing .200/.200/.500 in 10 at-bats.

Turner (hamstring) is not in the lineup Tuesday against Milwaukee.

Turner suffered a hamstring cramp in his final at-bat of Monday's game and although the injury does not appear serious, manager Dave Roberts is giving the 31-year-old a game off as a precaution. The third baseman, who's logged three doubles and six RBI over his last four games, will be replaced by recent callup Chris Taylor in the lineup.

Harper is in the lineup, playing right field and batting cleanup Tuesday against the Mets, Jamal Collier of MLB.com reports.

As expected, Harper is not missing any time after suffering several nicks in Monday's game including being hit by a foul ball and falling at first base. After homering nine times in the Nats' first 18 games this season, the 23-year-old has cooled off, batting .231 and going yard only six times over 56 games since then.

Harper (leg) is out of the lineup Tuesday, Jamal Collier of MLB.com reports.

Harper, who suffered several nicks Monday including being hit by a foul ball and falling at first base, will get a day off Tuesday to return to full strength. He was initially not expected to miss Tuesday's start so it appears that the move is purely precautionary. The 23-year-old is slashing .256/.356/.359 over his last 10 games.

Ozuna (wrist) is back in the lineup Tuesday, batting cleanup and starting in center field against the Tigers.

After missing the last two games of the Marlins' series against the Cubs due to a sore wrist, the talented Ozuna will draw back into the lineup Tuesday. It's a good sign for Ozuna that he's not only in the lineup, but he's also playing center field when manager Don Mattingly could have used him in the DH spot in an American League park.

Vogelbach went 5-for-7 with a home run and four RBI in a doubleheader for Triple-A Iowa on Monday.

Vogelbach homered for the third straight day and continued his terrific month. He's slashing .321/.429/.679 with seven home runs in 81 at-bats in June. While there isn't a spot for him on the Cubs as long as Anthony Rizzo is playing every day, his bat appears to be ready.

Harper is not expected to sit out Tuesday after exiting Monday's game against the Mets with a minor leg injury, Chase Hughes of CSN reports.

Harper took a foul ball off one of his legs and also fell at first base, and with the game all but in hand by the sixth inning, manager Dusty Baker erred on the side of caution and took his star outfielder out of harm's way before the game was officially over. The 23-year-old still managed to go 2-for-3 with an RBI before his premature exit Monday.

McCutchen went 2-for-4 with a double and a run in Monday's 5-4 loss to the Dodgers.

McCutchen's double was an integral part of a four-run first inning off starter Scott Kazmir, but he and the rest of the Pirates offense failed to generate much in the rest of the contest. The five-time All Star is having a subpar season by his lofty standards, but is starting to heat up a bit with a pair of multi-hit efforts in his last last three games after logging just one in his previous 16.

Turner left the game Monday after his hamstring cramped up in a ninth inning at-bat, Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register reports.

It has been reported that manager Dave Roberts took Turner out of the game simply as a precaution and that the injury is not considered serious. He should still be considered day-to-day until more information is released.
