Pederson went 3-for-5 with a double and two-run homer in Saturday's 8-4 victory over the Pirates.
The slugging outfielder connected off reliever Jared Hughes for a two-run blast in the sixth that drove in Corey Seager. Pederson has hit his stride at the plate in August, with four multi-hit efforts, six doubles and a .323/.432/.613 line in 31 at-bats. It's by far his best month of the season to date, and he's brought his season average up 14 points since Aug. 3.
