Yelich went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in an 8-2 win over the Cardinals on Friday.

Yelich clubbed his 28th homer of the year and his first of the month of September. The 33-year-old slugger has been a five-category fantasy producer in 2025, batting .267 with 18 doubles, 95 RBI, 84 runs scored and 16 stolen bases over 136 games. Yelich is also two long balls away from the third 30-homer campaign of his career and five RBI shy of his second career 100-RBI season.

Suzuki is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Rays due to sickness, Andy Martinez of Marquee Sports Network reports.

At first glance, it appeared Suzuki was slated for a day off Friday after making 12 consecutive starts. However, the 30-year-old is actually feeling under the weather. His absence allows for Moises Ballesteros to draw a start at DH.

Suzuki is absent from the lineup for Friday's game against the Rays.

It looks to be a routine day off for Suzuki, who had started each of the previous 12 contests. The Cubs have Moises Ballesteros in the designated hitter slot and hitting sixth Friday.

Bell is not in the lineup for Thursday's contest in Miami.

Bell is one of the hottest hitters in baseball, having gone 8-for-15 with four home runs and 13 RBI over his last four games. However, the switch hitter often doesn't start against left-handed pitching, and that will be the case in Thursday's series finale as the Marlins send southpaw Ryan Weathers to the bump. Andres Chaparro will be at first base and bat fifth for the Nationals.

Devers went 1-for-3 with two RBI, a double and a walk in Wednesday's 5-3 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Devers smacked a two-RBI double to center field in the eighth inning, driving in the Giants' first two runs. The 28-year-old has safely reached base in 15 consecutive outings, slashing .328/.426/.690 with 19 RBI, seven runs scored and six long balls across 68 plate appearances during that span. Overall, he's slashing .260/.378/.486 with 102 RBI, 89 runs scored, 31 homers and a stolen base in 658 plate appearances over 147 games between San Francisco and Boston.

Andujar has been limited to designated-hitter and pinch-hitting duties by a quad injury, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic reports.

Andujar was a stellar under-the-radar trade deadline acquisition, rolling to a .388/.444/.673 slash line in his first 16 games with Cincinnati. It was at that time the quad injury popped up. This explains his limited usage the last few weeks, but the bat remains helpful. Andujar has gone 7-for-21 (.333) with three RBI and .772 OPS over the last eight contests. He also had the game-winning knock as a pinch hitter in Wednesday's 2-1 win over the Padres.

Manager Carlos Mendoza confirmed Wednesday that Winker (back) will be shut down for the rest of the 2025 season, Manny Gomez of NJ.com reports.

Winker landed on the injured list in mid-July due to back inflammation. He was pulled from his rehab assignment last week after suffering a setback, and the injury is severe enough for the 32-year-old to be officially sidelined for the rest of the 2025 campaign. Winker will shift his focus to being ready for spring training and will enter the offseason as a free agent. He logged just 81 plate appearances for the Mets this season, slashing .229/.309/.400 with one home run, one stolen base, 10 RBI and eight runs.

McCutchen is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Orioles.

McCutchen will receive a breather after he had served as the Pirates' designated hitter in the team's last two games while going 2-for-8 with a double, an RBI and a run. Tommy Pham will get a break from playing the outfield Wednesday and will settle into the DH spot.

Yelich went 2-for-5 with an RBI single, a double and a stolen base during Tuesday's 5-4 loss to the Rangers.

Yelich returned Monday from a five-game absence due to a back injury. He didn't seem to have any restrictions Tuesday, stealing his 16th base of the season and legging out his 18th double. In his last 14 games, Yelich is 16-for-48 (.333) with a 6:9 BB:K. He has an .814 OPS on the year.

Schwarber went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run in Tuesday's 9-3 win over the Mets.

With Tuesday's long ball, Schwarber became only the second player in Phillies history alongside Ryan Howard to record 50 home runs in a single season. Though Schwarber has been a fantasy stalwart this season with an MLB-high 123 RBI to go with 99 runs and 10 stolen bases, he's been struggling overall during his last 11 games, batting just .146.
