Rays' Christian Bethancourt: Day off Saturday
Bethancourt is not starting Saturday's game against the Royals, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Bethancourt continues to alternate starts with Francisco Mejia behind the plate. He's hit well across his last five starts, collecting six hits in 19 at-bats.

Gabriel Moreno C | ARI
Diamondbacks' Gabriel Moreno: Takes seat Saturday
Moreno isn't in the Diamondbacks' lineup Saturday against the Giants.
Moreno is just 1-for-16 across his last five games and will take a seat Saturday. Carson Kelly will take Moreno's place behind the dish and bat eighth.

Salvador Perez C | KC
Royals' Salvador Perez: Serving as DH
Perez (hamstring) is serving as the designated hitter and hitting third Saturday against the Rays, Joel Goldberg of Bally Sports Kansas City reports.
Perez was forced to leave Friday's game in the sixth inning with hamstring cramps, though he managed to slug his 15th home run of the season prior to his exit. He won't miss any additional time, though he'll get a defensive rest, with Freddy Fermin starting at catcher.

Tyler Stephenson C | CIN
Reds' Tyler Stephenson: Not starting Saturday
Stephenson isn't in the Reds' lineup Saturday against Atlanta.
Stephenson is 5-for-19 with an RBI and a run scored across his last five games. He'll get a breather Saturday as Curt Casali takes over behind the plate and bats ninth.

Jose Trevino C | CIN
Yankees' Jose Trevino: Out of Saturday's lineup
Trevino is not in Saturday's starting lineup against the Rangers.
Trevino went hitless across two at-bats Friday prior to being pinch hit for in the eighth inning. He'll be out of the lineup for the third time in the last four games, with Kyle Higashioka instead drawing the start behind the dish.

Sean Murphy C | ATL
Braves' Sean Murphy: Remains out Saturday
Murphy (hamstring) isn't in Atlanta's lineup Saturday against the Reds.
Saturday will mark the fifth straight game Murphy has not started since injuring his hamstring a week ago against Colorado, though he was able to make a pinch-hit appearance Thursday. Travis d'Arnaud will continue to serve as Atlanta's main backstop in Murphy's absence and bat sixth.

Patrick Bailey C | CLE
Giants' Patrick Bailey: Mashes fourth homer
Bailey went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk in Friday's 8-5 win over the Diamondbacks.
Bailey is off to a good start since getting called up to the big leagues May 19. The 2020 first-round pick is slashing .330/.361/.560 so far, and he is quickly proving to be a worthy fantasy option. His four total homers aren't eye-popping, but his contact hitting has been excellent, as he has hits in 10 of his 15 contests.

Shea Langeliers C | ATH
Athletics' Shea Langeliers: Knocks critical homer
Langeliers went 2-for-4 with an RBI single and a go-ahead solo home run in a win over the Blue Jays on Friday.
Langeliers had posted an anemic .119/.159/.167 slash line and 33.3 percent strikeout rate in the 12 games since his last homer June 6, so Friday's production was considered a breakout effort. The struggling backstop's ninth-inning solo shot to left proved the difference in the game and locked in his first multi-hit effort since June 3.

Salvador Perez C | KC
Royals' Salvador Perez: Leaves game with hamstring cramps
Perez was removed from Friday's game versus the Rays due to cramps in his right hamstring.
Perez went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run prior to his exit. Freddy Fermin entered the game in the sixth inning and would likely see a bump in playing time if Perez is forced to miss any additional time beyond Friday. Perez has been one of the Royals' best players, hitting .270 with 15 homers and 39 RBI over 69 contests this season.
