Gabriel Moreno C | ARI
Diamondbacks' Gabriel Moreno: Scratched Wednesday
Moreno was scratched from the Diamondbacks' lineup ahead of Wednesday's game against the Dodgers, Jesse Friedman of GoPHNX.com reports.
Moreno underwent a dental procedure before Wednesday's game and was scratched as a precaution. Tucker Barnhart will fill in behind the plate and bat ninth, and Moreno should be able to return to the lineup Friday.

Yainer Diaz C | HOU
Astros' Yainer Diaz: Takes seat Wednesday
Diaz is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Guardians.
Diaz will rest after he had drawn starts in each of the past six games (four at catcher, two at designated hitter). Victor Caratini will replace Diaz behind the dish Wednesday.

Bo Naylor C | CLE
Guardians' Bo Naylor: Getting Wednesday off
Naylor is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Astros.
Naylor started at catcher in each of the past three games, so he's presumably just getting a rest day Wednesday. David Fry will get the nod behind the plate in Naylor's place.

Logan O'Hoppe C | LAA
Angels' Logan O'Hoppe: Gets Wednesday off
O'Hoppe is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Phillies, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
O'Hoppe will get the afternoon off after he had started behind the plate each of the past three games. Matt Thaiss will handle catching duties for the Angels in the series finale.

Nick Fortes C | TB
Marlins' Nick Fortes: On bench again Wednesday
Fortes is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rockies, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
For the second day in a row, Fortes will be on the bench while Christian Bethancourt draws another start behind the dish. Fortes had started both of the previous two games before Bethancourt picked up consecutive starts of his own, so the Marlins still seem to be viewing the catcher spot as a timeshare.

Tyler Stephenson C | CIN
Reds' Tyler Stephenson: Remains out Wednesday
Stephenson (hand) remains out of the lineup for Wednesday's game in San Diego.
He hasn't played since exiting Saturday's game versus the Rangers following a hit-by-pitch on the right hand. The Reds have an off day Thursday, so they could be aiming for Stephenson to return to action Friday against the Orioles. Luke Maile will catch again Wednesday in Stephenson's place.
