David Banuelos DH | BAL
Orioles' David Banuelos: Outrighted to Triple-A
The Orioles outrighted Banuelos to Triple-A Norfolk on Monday.
Banuelos was added to the Orioles' 26-man active roster for Sunday's game against the Marlins and struck out in his lone plate appearance. He's now been removed from the 40-man roster and has accepted an outright assignment to Norfolk, where he will provide catching depth.

Mitch Garver C | SEA
Mariners' Mitch Garver: Crushes fifth homer in win
Garver went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Sunday's 8-4 win over Detroit.
The 34-year-old veteran backstop got a rare start at catcher to give All-Star Cal Raleigh a respite behind the plate, launching his fifth homer of the campaign. As long as Raleigh is healthy, Garver is likely to continue seeing sparse playing time, even as a designated hitter. Garver has struggled to find a groove, slashing just .219/.310/.344 with four doubles and 21 RBI across 171 plate appearances.

Liam Hicks C | MIA
Marlins' Liam Hicks: Collects trio of hits
Hicks went 3-for-4 with one RBI in Sunday's 11-1 win against the Orioles.
The 26-year-old rookie started at first base and notched his second game with three or more hits this season -- the first coming at Philadelphia on April 19. Hicks, who was a Rule 5 pick this past offseason, continues to garner plenty of looks in a strong-side platoon role with the Marlins. He has been a steady source of offense for the club thanks to a .274/.367/.411 slash line with four homers, 30 RBI and 19 runs scored across 198 total plate appearances in 64 games.

David Banuelos DH | BAL
Orioles' David Banuelos: Called up Sunday
The Orioles recalled Banuelos from Triple-A Norfolk ahead of Sunday's game against the Marlins.
Banuelos will provide Baltimore with some extra catching depth for the final game of the season's first half. He went 0-for-1 in his lone plate appearance for the Orioles when he was up with the big club for a doubleheader with the Mets on Thursday.

Shea Langeliers C | ATH
Athletics' Shea Langeliers: Resting up Sunday
Langeliers is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Blue Jays.
Austin Wynns will pick up the start behind the plate while Langeliers rests in the series finale. Langeliers had started in seven of the previous eight contests, going 3-for-28 (.107 average) with a 1:8 BB:K during that stretch.
-
Austin Hedges C | CLE
Guardians' Austin Hedges: Returning to bench Sunday
Hedges is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox.
Bo Naylor will return to the lineup after Hedges had started behind the plate in three of the Guardians' last four games. Though the Guardians have turned the catcher position into more of a timeshare lately, Hedges' playing time should fall by the wayside as soon as Naylor begins to heat back up. Naylor is batting just .174 on the season, but he's gone 5-for-20 with three doubles and a 2:3 BB:K over his last seven games.

Yainer Diaz C | HOU
Astros' Yainer Diaz: Receiving Sunday off
Diaz is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.
Diaz will sit after a run of eight straight starts, during which he went 8-for-30 (.267) with two doubles, three homers and a stolen base. Victor Caratini will do the catching Sunday while Isaac Paredes serves as the designated hitter.

Jonah Heim C | TEX
Rangers' Jonah Heim: Out of Sunday's lineup
Heim is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Astros.
Heim had started the previous 16 games and wasn't productive at the plate during that stretch with a .203/.261/.313 slash line. Kyle Higashioka will replace Heim behind the dish Sunday.
