Rockies' Braxton Fulford: Big performance Sunday
Fulford went 2-for-4 with a double, a triple, two runs scored and an RBI on Sunday against the Cubs.
Fulford briefly got spot starts as Colorado's designated hitter, but he's shifted to a more traditional backup catcher of late and started only six of the team's last 14 games. He had one of his best offensive performances of the season Sunday, delivering his fourth multi-hit performance in 22 starts.

Drake Baldwin C | ATL
Braves' Drake Baldwin: Makes impact off bench
Baldwin went 1-for-1 with a two-run home run and a walk in Sunday's 3-1 win over Philadelphia.
Baldwin gave way to Sean Murphy behind the plate to start this game. In the end, Baldwin was part of Atlanta's build-up to tie the game in the eighth inning before he swatted the decisive homer in the top of the ninth. This was the rookie's 100th game, and he's up to 15 homers on the year while adding 62 RBI, 41 runs scored and a .280/.351/.462 slash line. He was right in line with those marks in August, batting .284 (23-for-81) with 21 RBI over 23 games for the month.

Brewers' William Contreras: Rips homer Sunday
Contreras went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Sunday's loss to Toronto.
Contreras opened the game's scoring with his two-run shot in the first inning before adding an RBI single in the third. It was his 17th long ball of the year and 11th in his last 31 contests. He entered the All-Star break with a disappointing .699 OPS, but he now owns a .259/.355/.410 slash line through 583 plate appearances. Ramirez snapped a 12-game homerless drought with his two-run blast in the third inning Sunday. He's up to 19 on the year, though just two of those have come in his last 26 appearances. Ramirez was stuck in a 4-for-33 (.121) skid over nine contests before collecting multiple hits in back-to-back games Saturday and Sunday. He's now slashing .233/.290/.430 with 48 extra-base hits and 60 RBI through 482 plate appearances.

James McCann C | ARI
Diamondbacks' James McCann: Tending to tight back
McCann remains out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers due to low back tightness, MLB.com reports.
McCann had been scheduled to start behind the plate in the Diamondbacks' 3-0 win Friday, but he ended up being scratched shortly before first pitch due to the back issue. Arizona is viewing McCann as day-to-day and should be able to navigate his absence with Adrian Del Castillo available as a third option at catcher behind top backstop Gabriel Moreno.
