Narvaez went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Sunday's 5-3 loss to Toronto.

Narvaez homered for the first time in 13 games and is up to seven long balls for the season. He's hit a rough patch in June and entered Sunday with a .172 average (5-for-29, 31.3 strikeout percentage) over his previous seven games.

Higashioka went 0-for-5 with two runs scored in Sunday's 6-4 extra-innings loss to Seattle.

Higashioka never reached base safely but managed to score two runs as the automatic runner in the 10th and 12th innings. June hasn't been kind to Higashioka, who is batting .167 after posting a .194 average during May. He parlayed a good stretch in San Diego last season into a two-year deal with the Rangers during the offseason, but Higashioka has not delivered while splitting the catching duties with Jonah Heim.

Garver went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run and two RBI singles during Sunday's 6-4 win over the Rangers in 12 innings.

Garver didn't have a single game with more than two RBI until June 20, when he drove in five. He exceeded the two RBI mark again Sunday, logging an RBI single in the sixth and 10th innings and tagging Cole Winn for a two-run homer in the 12th frame. Garver is 10-for-31 (.323) with three home runs and two doubles during his last eight games

Teel went 3-for-4 with a two-run double and a run scored during Sunday's 5-2 win over San Francisco.

Teel logged multiple RBI for the first time in his MLB career, delivering his second three-hit performance over his last three games. The rookie catcher is slashing .319/.421/.404 with four doubles, four RBI and six runs scored in 57 plate appearances this season. All four of his doubles have come within his last six games.

Caratini is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cubs.

Caratini will rest after drawing starts at designated hitter Friday and catcher Saturday. Yainer Diaz will serve as the Astros' catcher Sunday, while third baseman Isaac Paredes gets a day out of the infield and steps in at DH.

Garver (jaw) is starting behind the plate and batting seventh Sunday against the Rangers.

Garver hasn't seen the field since Thursday when he suffered a jaw injury on a foul tip, but he's ready to rejoin the lineup. The 34-year-old has seen sporadic playing time in June behind Cal Raleigh, but he's been productive when called upon with two homers and an .830 OPS in eight games.

Wells is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics.

Wells will retreat to the bench during Sunday's day game, enabling Ben Rice to pick up a start behind the plate. The 25-year-old backstop has cooled down considerably at the dish of late, going just 5-for-33 (.152 average) with a 27.8 percent strikeout rate over his last 10 games.

Wynns is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees.

The Athletics released a lineup earlier Sunday that featured Wynns at catcher, but Willie MacIver will instead get the nod behind the plate for the series finale. The team hasn't indicated that Wynns' removal from the lineup was the result of any injury or illness, so the veteran backstop is presumably just getting a breather. The duo have alternated starts at catcher over the last eight games, but with Shea Langeliers (oblique) likely to return from the injured list during the upcoming week, Wynns could lose his spot on the roster.

Rutschman (oblique) said Sunday that he's improving, but he admitted that he's uncertain if he'll be activated from the 10-day injured list for the Orioles' first game following the All-Star break, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Interim manager Tony Mansolino previously ruled Rutschman out for the remainder of the first half but expressed optimism that the catcher would be ready to go after the break. Since being placed on the IL on June 21, the backstop has been able to do some throwing, but he has yet to resume swinging a bat, according to Matt Weyrich of The Baltimore Sun. Until Rutschman proves that he can hit against high-velocity pitching without any discomfort, a firm target date for his return will be elusive.

Kirk is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Red Sox.

Kirk will get a breather for Sunday's matinee after he started behind the dish in the first two games of the series in Boston. Tyler Heineman will step in for Kirk at catcher.
