Quero is not in the lineup Tuesday versus the Angels.

Quero is absent from the lineup for the second time in a three-game span. He went 1-for-3 with a hit-by-pitch and a strikeout Monday. Drew Romo gets the start behind the plate Tuesday, batting eighth.

D'Arnaud is not in the lineup Tuesday versus the White Sox.

D'Arnaud started the last two games for the Angels after dealing with a foot injury that he suffered on a hit-by-pitch April 19. As he gets some rest Tuesday, Sebastian Rivero gets the start behind the dish, batting eighth.

Jeffers is not in the lineup for Tuesday's contest versus the Mariners.

Jeffers started at catcher in each of the previous three games, so he'll get some rest Tuesday. Victor Caratini will do the catching and bat sixth for the Twins.

Narvaez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 5-0 win over the Blue Jays.

Narvaez clocked his second home in three games to extend a hit streak to six consecutive contests. During that run, the catcher is 7-for-20 with four extra-base hits, three RBI, one steal and three runs. The offensive push comes at a time when there was chatter about backup Connor Wong possibly grabbing more starts, but Narvaez remains the team's primary catcher, while Wong has gone 1-for-12 over his last four starts.

Jeffers went 2-for-4 with two RBI, two runs scored, a stolen base and a walk in Monday's 11-4 victory over Seattle.

Jeffers contributed to the offensive outburst, driving in two runs with RBI singles in the third and eighth innings. Monday's performance marked his sixth multi-RBI game of the season, as he's swung a hot bat to begin 2026. Through 22 games, the 28-year-old is slashing .282/.414/.465 with six extra-base hits, 18 RBI, 14 runs and a stolen base.

O'Hoppe said Monday that the fracture in his left wrist is small and he believes he will return from the injured list in a "couple of weeks," Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

O'Hoppe sustained the injury Saturday against the Royals after taking a foul ball off his exposed left wrist. X-Rays revealed a small fracture, but the 26-year-old catcher sounded optimistic that his stint on the IL will be a short one. O'Hoppe would be back in the lineup by mid-May if that timeline holds, but in the meantime, Travis d'Arnaud will serve as the Angels' primary catcher while Sebastian Rivero operates in the backup role.

Jansen is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Yankees.

Jansen will be rested Monday after he picked up starts behind the plate in the final two games of the Rangers' weekend series versus the Athletics. Kyle Higashioka will handle catching duties in the series opener against New York.

Naylor is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Rays.

The left-handed-hitting Naylor will hit the bench for a second straight game while the Guardians face off against another southpaw (Steven Matz) in the series opener with Tampa Bay. Austin Hedges will handle catching duties Monday.

Basallo went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 5-3 loss to the Red Sox.

Basallo, who started at catcher Sunday due to Adley Rutschman serving as the DH, got the Orioles on the board in the fifth inning with a 392-foot blast off Connelly Early, Basallo's fifth homer of the season and first against a left-handed pitcher. The 21-year-old has now homered in back-to-back starts while going 6-for-9 in that span. He's boosted his slash line to .233/.325/.452 with eight RBI and 10 runs scored through his first 83 plate appearances this season.

The Angels selected Rivero's contract from Triple-A Salt Lake on Sunday.

The 27-year-old is joining the MLB roster to serve as the backup catcher with Logan O'Hoppe (wrist) landing on the injured list. Rivero will likely see sporadic playing time behind fill-in starter Travis d'Arnaud.
