Mike Moustakas 3B | CHW
Angels' Mike Moustakas: Drives in pair
Moustakas went 2-for-5 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's win over Detroit.
Moustakas opened the scoring with a two-run double in the first inning, extending his hitting streak to four games -- he's gone 5-for-17 with two doubles and a home run over that span. Overall, the veteran infielder is slashing a respectable .258/.333/.447 with nine homers, 30 RBI and 31 runs scored across 216 plate appearances between Los Angeles and Colorado. Moustakas should continue to see regular playing time between first and third base while Brandon Drury (shoulder) and Anthony Rendon (shin) are sidelined.

Abraham Toro 1B | BOS
Brewers' Abraham Toro: Called up Wednesday
Toro was recalled from Triple-A Nashville on Wednesday.
Toro will return to the big leagues after being sent down June 14, having produced a .337 average with 19 extra-base hits, including five homers, over 101 at-bats in 27 games with Nashville since his demotion. The 26-year-old will replace Jesse Winker (back) on the major-league roster after Winker was placed on the 10-day injured list Wednesday.

Jean Segura 3B | CLE
Marlins' Jean Segura: Absent from lineup Wednesday
Segura is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rays, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Segura will get a second straight Wednesday off while Jon Berti checks in for him at third base. While starting each of the Marlins' last four games, Segura went 3-for-15 with no runs or RBI.

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Hitless in return
Moncada went 0-for-3 with an RBI against the Cubs on Tuesday.
Moncada returned from a six-week absence caused by a back issue to start at third base and hit fifth. He struck out twice but managed a sacrifice fly in the seventh inning. There was some concern about Moncada's potential for playing time given the power production of Jake Burger while Moncada was sidelined, though Burger slid to second base Tuesday. That could leave both Zach Remillard and Elvis Andrus as the biggest playing-time losers due to Moncada's return.

Zack Gelof CF | ATH
Athletics' Zack Gelof: Picks up third steal
Gelof went 0-for-3 with a stolen base in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Giants.
Gelof's gone hitless in just three of his first 10 major-league games, with his 0-fer Tuesday ending a modest four-game streak. The second baseman was able to pick up his third steal and his first since he swiped two bags July 15. He's batting .250 with a home run, three RBI and six runs scored while often batting first or second in the Athletics' weak-hitting lineup.

Gunnar Henderson SS | BAL
Orioles' Gunnar Henderson: Exits with back injury
Henderson was removed from Tuesday's game against the Phillies due to lower back discomfort, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.
Henderson has dealt with back issues before this season -- he missed two games in early June with a similar injury. He should be considered day-to-day going forward.

Ke'Bryan Hayes 3B | CIN
Pirates' Ke'Bryan Hayes: Begins rehab assignment
Hayes (back) began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Indianapolis on Tuesday, Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Hayes has been on the injured list since July 7 with lower back discomfort, and he'll now begin the final step before rejoining the Pirates' lineup. The team hasn't indicated how long it plans on keeping Hayes in the minors, but it's certainly possible he returns before the end of July.

Brian Anderson RF | ATL
Brewers' Brian Anderson: Hits in cage
Anderson (back) hit in the cage Tuesday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
The next step is on-field batting practice, which Anderson should advance to on the Brewers' upcoming road trip, which begins this Friday. He was placed on the injured list just after the All-Star break because of lingering back discomfort.

Nick Madrigal 3B | LAA
Cubs' Nick Madrigal: Resumes rehab assignment
Madrigal (hamstring) will resume his rehab assignment Tuesday with Triple-A Iowa, Tony Andracki of Marquee Sports Network reports.
Madrigal was scratched from Iowa's lineup Sunday due to lower-body fatigue, but it won't be much of a setback as he nears his return to the Cubs' active roster. The infielder has been on the shelf since July 4 due to a right hamstring strain.

Jake Burger 1B | TEX
White Sox's Jake Burger: Making first MLB start at 2B
Burger is making his first major-league start at second base in Tuesday's contest versus the Cubs, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Burger has made a few starts at second base in the minors and played a handful of innings there in the majors, but this will be the first time he's made a start at the keystone at the big-league level. It's a way to keep his bat in the lineup following the return of Yoan Moncada from the injured list, as Moncada is back at his customary third base Tuesday.
