Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Homer, three RBI in win
Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and an RBI double in Tuesday's 7-6 win over the Mets.
Ramirez extended Cleveland's lead to 3-0 in the third inning with a two-out double before cranking a two-run homer off Adrian Houser in the fifth, the slugger's 12th of the year. The 31-year-old Ramirez has gone 12-for-32 (.375) with three home runs and 13 RBI in his last eight contests. His slash line is up to .258/.305/.495 with 44 RBI, 31 runs scored and seven stolen bases through 210 plate appearances this season.

Max Muncy 3B | LAD
Dodgers' Max Muncy: Commences baseball activities
Muncy took some groundballs Tuesday as he started up baseball activities after his recent oblique strain, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
The Dodgers placed Muncy on the 10-day injured list Friday due to a Grade 1 right oblique strain. According to manager Dave Roberts, Muncy sustained the strain in batting practice prior to Thursday's game. Before hitting the injured list, the third baseman was slashing .223/.323/.475 with nine home runs and 28 RBI over 167 plate appearances.

Brett Harris 3B | ATH
Athletics' Brett Harris: Losing work to Toro
Harris isn't in the Athletics' lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rockies.
Harris will be sitting on the bench while Abraham Toro starts at third base for the fourth time in Oakland's last five games. Harris hasn't tallied a hit since May 11 and is batting just .128 since coming up from Triple-A Las Vegas on May 3.

Bryan Ramos 3B | BAL
White Sox's Bryan Ramos: Beginning assignment Tuesday
Ramos (quad) will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Charlotte on Tuesday, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Ramos was placed on the injured list Friday (retroactive to Wednesday) with a strained left quad, and the fact he is already beginning an assignment in Charlotte means he will almost certainly be activated when eligible Saturday. The 22-year-old infielder was 9-for-32 with two RBI through his first 10 games in the majors before getting hurt.

Julio Carreras 3B | COL
Rockies' Julio Carreras: Unclaimed and outrighted
Carreras was outrighted to Triple-A Albuquerque on Tuesday, Patrick Lyons of JustBaseball.com reports.
Carreras will remain in the organization after going unclaimed off waivers when the Rockies designated him for assignment Sunday. The 24-year-old has struggled all season at Albuquerque, batting .181 with a .515 OPS across 38 games.

Gio Urshela 3B | MIN
Tigers' Gio Urshela: Out of Tuesday's lineup
Urshela is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game at Kansas City.
Urshela has gone 4-for-19 with two doubles in six games since he returned from the injured list last week, and he'll take a seat for Tuesday's contest. Matt Vierling will handle the hot corner and bat fifth.

Royce Lewis 3B | MIN
Twins' Royce Lewis: Running bases
Lewis (quadriceps) ran the bases Monday, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
After starting with some light running last week, Lewis was able to run the bases for the first time Monday as he continues to rehab from a right quad strain. It's expected that Lewis will need a rehab assignment before returning, which could push his timetable for return into early June.

Austin Riley 3B | ATL
Braves' Austin Riley: Remains out of lineup
Riley (intercostal) remains out of the lineup for Tuesday's game versus the Cubs.
Riley hasn't played since May 12 because of left intercostal inflammation. Atlanta has resisted putting its third baseman on the 10-day injured list so far, and at this point, it would appear the team will continue to wait things out. He was cleared to take soft swings in the batting cage Tuesday, per Mark Bowman of MLB.com, so Riley at least appears to be making progress in his recovery. Zack Short will again be at the hot corner Tuesday.

Joseph Ortiz 2B | MIL
Brewers' Joey Ortiz: Playing Tuesday
Ortiz (foot) is batting fifth and playing third base Tuesday against Miami.
Ortiz was hit in the foot by a pitch during Monday's loss but won't be forced to miss any time after his X-rays came back clean. Since April 26, Ortiz is batting .328 with five home runs as the Brewers' everyday third baseman.

Brett Baty 3B | NYM
Mets' Brett Baty: Not in Tuesday's lineup
Baty is not in the lineup for Tuesday's contest in Cleveland.
The Mets had been using a strict platoon at third base since Mark Vientos was recalled, but it will be Vientos getting the start at third base in this one against right-hander Xzavion Curry. Baty is hitting just .125/.186/.150 with a 43.2 percent strikeout rate since his two-homer game back on May 3 and could be losing his grip on a starting job.
