Urshela is not in the Tigers' lineup Tuesday versus the Rangers.

Urshela has six hits in the five games since his most recent off day, with a pair of those knocks clearing the fences for his first two home runs of the season. Mark Canha will start at first for Urshela on Tuesday and Justyn-Henry Malloy will fill in at DH.

Miranda will start at first base and bat third in Tuesday's game against the Yankees.

Miranda has been the Twins' primary third baseman for the last few weeks, but that position will be unavailable most days now with Royce Lewis back from the injured list. However, it would appear to be a good sign for Miranda that he remains in the lineup in a prominent spot even with Lewis back in the fold. Miranda has an .883 OPS with four home runs over his last 50 plate appearances.

Kessinger was optioned to Triple-A Sugar Land on Tuesday, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Kessinger hasn't logged an at-bat since May 11 while operating as a reserve infielder for the Astros. Trey Cabbage will take Kessinger's spot on the 26-man roster.

The Mariners removed Urias from the 40-man roster and outrighted him to Triple-A Tacoma on Tuesday.

The 27-year-old was optioned to Tacoma in late May and has now lost his place on the 40-man roster to make room for the signing of Victor Robles. Urias struggled in 34 games for the Mariners, posting a .152/.264/.316 slash line and 34.1 percent strikeout rate in 91 plate appearances.

Westburg went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Monday's 7-2 win over the Blue Jays.

Westburg has hit safely in his last eight games, going 12-for-31 (.387) in that span. The steal was his first since May 11 and his sixth on nine attempts this season. It's unlikely Westburg will be negatively impacted by the Orioles' promotion of Connor Norby to replace Jorge Mateo (concussion) on the 26-man roster -- Westburg should continue to see near-everyday playing time between third base and second base. The 25-year-old is slashing .292/.348/.510 with nine home runs, 36 RBI and 30 runs scored over 222 plate appearances as he enjoys a breakout in his second major-league campaign.

Urias hit a solo home run in his lone at-bat in Monday's 7-2 win over the Blue Jays.

Urias started the game on the bench but entered in the seventh inning as a defensive replacement. While he hasn't seen steady playing time, Urias is 6-for-10 with two homers over his last five contests. With Jorge Mateo (concussion) on the injured list, it's likely to be Connor Norby in the lineup regularly, but Urias could feature more frequently off the bench due to his strong defense and versatility. Urias is slashing .239/.289/.394 with three homers, six RBI and 12 runs scored over 76 plate appearances.

Anderson agreed to a major-league contract with Atlanta and will be on the active roster for Tuesday's game in Boston.

The 31-year-old opted out of his minor-league deal with Seattle over the weekend and will now receive his first look in the big leagues during 2024. Anderson spent last season with the Brewers and posted a .226/.310/.368 slash line in 96 contests. He should serve as a bench bat and provides some corner outfield depth with Ronald Acuna (knee) out for the season.

The Twins activated Lewis (quadricep) from the 10-day injured list Tuesday.

Lewis is ready to go following an absence of nearly 10 weeks due to a strained right quad. The 24-year-old went 4-for-23 with an 8:1 K:BB over 24 plate appearances during a six-game rehab stint with Triple-A St. Paul. Per Dan Hayes of The Athletic, the Twins have instructed Lewis to run at less than full speed in hopes that it will give him a better chance of staying healthy. While that could put a bit of a damper on his stolen-base outlook, it's not a big part of Lewis' game, anyway, as he's totaled just six steals in 71 career games. Lewis will regain his role as the Twins' everyday third baseman, with Jose Miranda likely to now see reps in the designated hitter spot and/or first base.

Vientos went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, two walks and an additional run scored in Monday's 8-7 win over Washington.

Vientos hit a solo home run off Nationals starter MacKenzie Gore in the fourth inning, his second long ball over his past three games. The 24-year-old continues to crush left-handed pitching, entering Monday's game with a .444/.483/.815 slash line against southpaws. Vientos has firmly established himself as the Mets' starting third baseman, batting .339 with five home runs and 11 runs scored through 66 plate appearances.

Candelario went 2-for-5 with a home run, a double, two runs scored and two RBI in Monday's win over the Rockies.

Candelario belted a two-run shot in the third inning before adding a double and another run in the fifth. After an 11-game homerless drought in the middle of May, he's knocked three home runs over his last 11 contests. During that span, he's boosted his season OPS from .663 to .739 through 214 total plate appearances. It was also Candelario's third straight multi-hit performance and his first game all season with multiple extra-base hits.
