  • Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE

Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Swipes bag in fourth straight

Ramirez went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Cleveland's loss to the Rays on Thursday.

Ramirez singled and stole second in his first trip to the plate, giving him his fourth consecutive game with at least one steal. The third baseman would also come around to score in the frame, marking his third straight contest with a run scored. Despite having hit safely in each of his last five contests, Ramirez is batting just .222 (10-for-45) in September with one homer, two RBI, six runs and five stolen bases. Thursday's theft was his 39th of the campaign.

  • Ezequiel Duran SS | TEX

Rangers' Ezequiel Duran: Back on bench Thursday

Duran is not in the lineup for Thursday's game in Seattle.

Duran has been picking up starts at a multitude of positions since Corey Seager (hip) landed on the 10-day injured list. Until Thursday, Duran had made five consecutive starts, but he went hitless in the last two games as the designated hitter. Adolis Garcia is in the lineup as the designated hitter Thursday while Josh Smith is starting at shortstop.

  • Max Muncy 3B | LAD

Dodgers' Max Muncy: Slugs another homer Wednesday

Muncy went 1-for-2 with a solo home run, two walks and two total runs Wednesday in a 10-8 victory versus the Cubs.

Muncy was part of a huge Los Angeles first inning during which the team homered four times. The third baseman knocked the third of back-to-back-to-back long balls in that frame, following Tommy Edman and Will Smith. Muncy has three home runs in his past four games and has drawn four walks during that stretch.

  • Matt Chapman 3B | SF

Giants' Matt Chapman: Goes yard in blowout win

Chapman went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 13-2 win over the Brewers.

Chapman has gone 17-for-49 (.347) with four homers, two stolen bases and 10 RBI over his last 14 games. The third baseman's long ball Wednesday gave the Giants their 10th run, and he later exited the blowout win to get some well-earned rest. Chapman is up to 24 homers, 73 RBI, 93 runs scored, 15 steals and a .251/.334/.456 slash line over 142 contests.

  • Ryan McMahon 3B | NYY

Rockies' Ryan McMahon: Belts 19th homer

McMahon went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 7-4 loss to the Tigers.

The Rockies were in a 6-0 hole after the first inning, but McMahon got them on the board in the top of the second by taking Casey Mize deep. McMahon has emerged from his post-All-Star break malaise, and over his last 16 games he's slashing a respectable .262/.328/.426 with three homers, four runs and six RBI. His next long ball will give the 29-year-old his fourth straight 20-homer campaign.

  • Jared Triolo 3B | PIT

Pirates' Jared Triolo: Slugs eighth homer

Triolo went 2-for-3 with a solo home run Wednesday against the Marlins.

Triolo remains locked in as Pittsburgh's starting third baseman in the absence of Ke'Bryan Hayes (back). In 21 games since Hayes went down, Triolo has hit .261 with three home runs, 14 RBI, 11 runs scored and two stolen bases.

  • Eugenio Suarez 3B | SEA

Diamondbacks' Eugenio Suarez: Goes yard twice in rout

Suarez went 4-for-4 with a double, two solo home runs and two additional runs scored in Wednesday's 14-4 rout of the Rangers.

The third baseman took Cody Bradford deep in the second inning before capping his huge day at the plate with another solo blast in the seventh off Owen White. Suarez is steaming toward his fifth career 30-homer campaign -- through 10 games in September, he's slashing a stunning .500/.558/1.132 with seven long balls. With 92 RBI on the year, the 33-year-old is also closing in on his third career 100-RBI season, and first since 2019.

  • Lenyn Sosa 2B | CHW

White Sox's Lenyn Sosa: Seven-game hitting streak

Sosa went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored Wednesday against the Guardians.

Sosa played his part in a four-run rally in the third inning with an RBI single before also coming around to score. The performance extended his hitting streak to seven games, during which Sosa has hit .407 with two doubles, four runs scored and three RBI. He should get regular run at second base so long as Brooks Baldwin (wrist) is sidelined.

  • Orioles' Emmanuel Rivera: Belts homer Wednesday

Rivera went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional RBI in Wednesday's extra-inning loss to Boston.

Rivera put Baltimore on the board in the third inning with a solo shot to left field. He gave the team another lead with an RBI single in the 10th, but Boston emerged with the victory on a Tyler O'Neill walk-off homer in the bottom of that frame. It was a rare opportunity for Rivera to produce, as he's started just twice in the Orioles' past seven games.

  • Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE

Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Keeps running Wednesday

Ramirez went 1-for-5 with a stolen base and a run scored in Wednesday's 6-4 win over the White Sox.

Ramirez has swiped a bag in three straight contests, giving him 38 thefts on the year. He continues to extend his career high in that area, but his chances of a 40-40 season are dwindling since he's homered just once over 10 games in September. The third baseman is sporting a .270/.329/.512 slash line with 34 homers, 106 RBI and 103 runs scored over 143 contests this season.
