Donaldson went 2-for-4 with two home runs, three RBI and a walk in the Braves' 10-8 loss to the Mets on Thursday.

Donaldson inched closer to the 30-homer mark with two more long balls in this contest, first touching up Marcus Stroman with a sixth-inning solo shot before adding another off Drew Gagnon in the ninth. That brings the veteran up to 28 long balls on the season, to go along with his excellent .265/.382/.527 slash line across 505 plate appearances.

Ramirez went 2-for-3 with a grand slam, a two-run homer, six RBI and a pair of walks in the Indians' 19-5 win over the Yankees on Thursday.

Ramirez continued his resurgent second half of the season with two more homers, the first of which was a first-inning grand slam off Chad Green that kickstarted a huge day for the Cleveland offense. His start to the season was brutal, but Ramirez has looked much more like his MVP-candidate self since July 1, as he's posted a .975 OPS, cranked 12 long balls and driven in 37 runs since the calendar flipped from June.

Chapman went 3-for-4 with a pair of home runs and another run scored in Thursday's 7-6 win over the Astros.

After hitting two home runs in Wednesday's win over the Giants, Chapman matched his success with a pair of solo shots against the Astros, bringing his season total to a team-leading 29. It was just the second multi-homer effort of the year for the 26-year-old as he reached a new milestone with a career-high 69 RBI.

Bregman went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Thursday's 7-6 loss to the A's.

With two outs in the fourth inning, Bregman crushed a two-run homer off Mike Fiers to open up the scoring. The 25-year-old is now slashing .277/.405/.554 with a team-leading 29 long balls as he zooms closer to surpassing his career-high of 31 homers set during the 2018 season.

Anderson went 3-for-4 with two doubles, three RBI and two runs scored Thursday against the Dodgers.

Anderson began a big offensive day for the Marlins with an RBI single in the first inning. He was hardly done however, delivering a two-RBI double in the fifth inning. Anderson has swung the bat well of late, recording at least one hit in nine of his last 11 starts, racking up three homers, 10 RBI and scored eight runs. For the season, he's hitting.255/.337/.469 across 493 plate appearances.

Muncy went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk Thursday against the Marlins.

Muncy took Jose Quijada deep in the seventh inning, notching his 29th homer of the season. He's in the midst of a modest five-game hitting streak, recording four extra-base hits in that span. Muncy has remained consistent in his production and is pacing to both drive in and score more than 100 runs. With a .259/.370/.520 line to supplement his counting stats, Muncy is turning in quite an encore to his breakout 2018 campaign.

Astudillo (oblique) will begin a rehab assignment Thursday with Double-A Pensacola, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

Astudillo has been on the injured list since late June but appears ready to begin his rehab assignment in the coming days. The 27-year-old is likely still several weeks from a return to the major-league club, but it's encouraging to see him ready to begin action in live games.

Candelario (thumb) reported to Triple-A Toledo on Thursday to begin a rehab assignment, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

Candelario was cleared to resume all baseball activities earlier this weekend and apparently came out of his workouts with no renewed pain in his sprained left thumb, prompting the Tigers to clear him for minor-league action. It's unclear how many games Candelario will play at Triple-A before being activated, but he shouldn't be in store for a lengthy assignment since the injury has only sidelined him for a week and a half.

Bregman went 2-for-5 with a double and three RBI in Wednesday's 13-9 loss to the White Sox.

Bregman returned to the lineup Wednesday after sitting out both games of Tuesday's doubleheader with a sore shoulder, a result of being hit by a pitch Sunday.

Rendon went 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and two RBI in Wednesday's 17-7 rout of the Reds.

It was a remarkably balanced attack from the Nats, as every starting position player got on base multiple times and scored exactly twice. Rendon is now slashing .326/.365/.565 through 12 games in August, and Wednesday's long ball was his 26th of the season -- setting a new career high for the 29-year-old.
