Suarez's X-rays on his hand were negative Monday, revealing nothing worse than a contusion.
Suarez was hit in the hand by a pitch Sunday and appeared initially worried that he could be forced to miss the rest of the season. Those worries were apparently unfounded, however, so he should be back in the lineup soon.
