Lee is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Cubs.

Lee will grab a seat Wednesday after starting both of the previous two contests at second base for the Twins. Willi Castro will receive the start at the keystone and will bat second.

Clement is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the White Sox.

After starting in each of the last 31 contests, Clement will get a well-deserved breather for the day game after a night game. With a respectable .722 OPS over 328 plate appearances in addition to providing excellent defense at multiple infield spots, Clement has been an indispensable piece for the Blue Jays in 2025, but he could fade into more of a part-time role against right-handed pitching once Toronto gets healthier. Clement has been far more effective versus lefties (.396/.438/.635 slash line, 198 wRC+) than righties (.244/.283/.273 slash line, 57 wRC+) this season.

Moncada went 0-for-4 in his return to the lineup Tuesday against the Rangers.

Starting at third base and batting sixth, Moncada was playing in his first game for the Angels in more than a month after battling right knee inflammation. With Moncada re-taking the third base job, Luis Rengifo shifted over to second base for the Halos on Tuesday.

Rojas went 1-for-2 with a solo home run Tuesday against the Blue Jays.

Despite the White Sox's infield getting more crowded with the addition of Colson Montgomery, Rojas continues to play nearly every day. He tallied his first home run of the season in the sixth inning Tuesday and now has one hit in four of his last five starts. While that's a very limited positive sample, Rojas is hitting a disastrous .184/.256/.250 across 169 plate appearances for the season.

Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol said Tuesday that he would be "surprised" if Arenado (shoulder) is not back in the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Nationals, Daniel Guerrero of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Arenado missed a third straight start Tuesday due to a right shoulder impingement, but the third baseman said he felt "drastically" better than he did during the Cardinals' scheduled off day Monday. Barring a setback, it sounds like Arenado will be back at the hot corner Wednesday.

Mauricio went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 7-6 extra-inning win over the Orioles.

The 24-year-old infielder got the Mets on the board when he took Brandon Young deep to lead off the sixth inning. Mauricio has only started three of New York's last seven games, but he's come off the bench in two others during that stretch and could be forcing his way back into consistent playing time with his performance at the plate. Over his last 10 contests, Mauricio is slashing .344/.417/.594 with two doubles, two of his four homers on the year, three RBI, seven runs and a very palatable 19.4 percent strikeout rate against an 11.1 percent walk rate.

Ramirez went 1-for-3 with two walks, a home run, two RBI, two steals and two additional runs scored in Tuesday's 10-6 extra-inning win over Houston.

Ramirez got the night started with a two-run home run in the first inning to give the Guardians an early lead. It was his second straight game with a homer and his third long ball in the last four games -- it's safe to say Ramirez has moved beyond the 0-for-21 slump he endured last week. He's up to 16 home runs and 24 steals for the season.

Muncy went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 10-1 win over Atlanta.

Muncy has hit safely in eight of his last nine games, going 11-for-32 (.344) with three homers, three doubles and six RBI in that span. The infielder capped a five-run first inning for the Athletics with his blast. Muncy is up to a .222/.268/.404 slash line with eight homers, 22 RBI, 16 runs scored, seven doubles and one stolen base through his first 50 major-league games. It's unclear if Muncy will have a regular spot in the lineup once Miguel Andujar (oblique) completes his rehab assignment.

The Red Sox are expected to option Eaton to Triple-A Worcester on Wednesday, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.

With Masataka Yoshida (shoulder) due to return from the injured list Wednesday, Eaton will end up as the man left without a place on the active roster. The 28-year-old is 6-for-24 in the majors this year with one RBI, five runs scored and three steals through 14 games, and his defensive versatility gives him a better chance to return to the Red Sox later in the year.

Durbin isn't in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Dodgers.

Durbin has been turning things around at the plate over the past few weeks, but he'll get a chance to regroup after going 0-for-6 over his last two games. Andruw Monasterio will take over at the hot corner and bat eighth.
