  • Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE

Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Swipes two bags in loss

Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a run scored and two stolen bases in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Yankees.

It's the first time since May 12 that Ramirez has pilfered multiple bags in a game. He's been scorching hot at the plate of late, rapping out multiple hits in nine of his last 12 games while slashing .449/.491/.673 with two homers, four steals, six RBI and 12 runs.

  • Max Muncy 3B | LAD

Dodgers' Max Muncy: Swats two more homers

Muncy went 2-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI in Tuesday's 6-5 extra-inning win over the Mets.

Muncy is up to nine homers this season, with six of them coming over his last seven games. In that span, he has gone 9-for-22 (.409) with 14 RBI. He supplied a two-run homer in the first inning Tuesday and then delivered the game-tying run with a solo shot in the ninth. Muncy has slashed .230/.350/.432 with 35 RBI, 19 runs scored, two stolen bases, eight doubles and a triple over 57 contests in 2025. This power surge should help the third baseman maintain his strong-side platoon role at the hot corner, and he even got a start versus a lefty (Ryan Yarbrough) on Sunday.

  • Padres' Manny Machado: Perfect at plate Tuesday

Machado went 4-for-4 with a walk and two RBI in Tuesday's 3-2 extra-inning win over the Giants.

Machado delivered a clutch hit, driving in both runs with a two-out, bases-loaded single in the ninth inning to tie the game. He has hit safely in nine of his last 12 contests, but he had gone seven games without a multi-hit effort prior to Tuesday. The big performance lifted his batting average back up to .315 with an .869 OPS, seven home runs, 29 RBI, 40 runs scored, seven stolen bases and 17 doubles through 59 contests this season.

  • Rays' Junior Caminero: Adds late homer in win

Caminero went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, two runs scored, one walk and one stolen base in Tuesday's win over the Rangers.

Caminero put the game out of reach Tuesday with a solo homer in the eighth inning. Though not known for his speed, the third baseman also swiped his fourth base of the season. The former top prospect has showcased plenty of pop, slugging .516 with 14 home runs. While a low walk rate has limited his on-base percentage to .294, an .810 OPS at age 21 is incredibly impressive.

  • Brett Baty 3B | NYM

Mets' Brett Baty: Taking seat Tuesday

Baty isn't in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Dodgers.

Baty will get a chance to rest Tuesday after going 1-for-4 during Monday's series opener. While he sits, Ronny Mauricio will get the nod at the hot corner and bat seventh.

  • Ronny Mauricio 2B | NYM

Mets' Ronny Mauricio: Officially called up

The Mets called up Mauricio from Triple-A Syracuse on Tuesday, Jorge Castillo of ESPN.com reports.

As expected, Mauricio is getting a promotion as Mark Vientos (hamstring) heads to the 10-day injured list. Mauricio struggled a bit initially after recovering from multiple knee surgeries, as he hit below the Mendoza Line for Single-A St. Lucie and Double-A Binghamton. Following the initial struggles, he has been stellar for Triple-A Syracuse with a 1.382 OPS, three homers and four stolen bases across 39 plate appearances. The infielder is starting at third base for the Mets on Tuesday and is batting seventh, but his role with the big-league club may be limited.

  • Mark Vientos DH | NYM

Mets' Mark Vientos: Heads to IL

The Mets placed Vientos on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a right hamstring strain, Jorge Castillo of ESPN.com reports.

Vientos injured his right hamstring in the top of the 10th inning during Monday's 4-3 victory over the Dodgers. He grounded out, and he was unable to make it out of the batter's box and was seen grabbing his hamstring as he retreated to the dugout. With the 25-year-old heading to the injured list Tuesday, the Mets called up Ronny Mauricio from Triple-A Syracuse.

  • Royals' Maikel Garcia: Back in Kansas City lineup

Garcia (thumb) is starting at third base and batting third in Tuesday's game versus the Cardinals.

Garcia had to be scratched from Sunday's lineup against the Tigers due to right thumb soreness, but he's ready to roll after the Royals were idle Monday. It's the first time this season that Garcia has batted third for Kansas City.

  • Connor Norby 2B | MIA

Marlins' Connor Norby: Out of Marlins' lineup

Norby is not in the lineup for Tuesday's contest against the Rockies.

Norby is in a 1-for-23 tailspin at the dish, so he'll get a day to regroup. Javier Sanoja will cover third base and bat ninth for the Marlins on Tuesday.

  • Marcelo Mayer SS | BOS

Red Sox's Marcelo Mayer: Out again versus lefty

Mayer is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Angels.

The Red Sox are facing a second straight lefty in Yusei Kikuchi, and the left-handed-hitting Mayer has been absent from the lineup for both contests. Abraham Toro will again play third base and bat fifth.
