Anderson is not starting Wednesday's game against the Diamondbacks, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

The third baseman receives his second day off since returning from the injured list May 4. Anderson has gone 6-for-26 with four RBI since then and is now hitting just .209 on the season. Jon Berti is manning third base and batting fifth.

Suarez went 2-for-5 with a three-run double during Wednesday's win against the Pirates.

The 29-year-old cleared the bases with a double to deep center field during the top of the 10th inning to give the Reds a 5-1 lead. Suarez recently found himself in an 0-for-14 slump, but he's responded by going 5-for-13 with a homer, a double and four RBI over the past three games.

Moustakas went 2-for-3 with a home run, two walks and an additional run scored during Wednesday's win at Pittsburgh.

The 32-year-old clubbed a solo homer during the second inning and also came around to score during the 10th frame on Eugenio Suarez's bases-clearing double. Moustakas has a .235/.330/.444 slash line with four home runs, five doubles, 12 RBI and 15 runs in 24 games this season.

Candelario (illness) is starting Wednesday's game against the Royals, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.

Candelario was scratched from the lineup for Tuesday's game due to side effects from the COVID-19 vaccine, but he'll return to action after a brief absence. The 27-year-old has gone 7-for-17 with a home run, six runs, four RBI, two walks and three strikeouts in his last four games.

Astudillo started at first base and went 2-for-4 with a double to raise his batting average to .324 in Tuesday's loss to the White Sox.

Astudillo appears to have supplanted Miguel Sano as the starting first baseman in the near term as he's been hot at the plate while Sano has struggled. Astudillo will likely move back to a utility role when several Twins return from the injured list, but he could stick in the lineup if he stays hot since so many of Minnesota's regulars are struggling at the plate.

Machado went 2-for-5 with a home run, a triple, five RBI, two runs and a walk in the Padres' 8-1 win over the Rockies on Tuesday.

Machado went deep off Anthony Senzatela in the fifth inning for his fifth home run of the season. He added a triple with the bases loaded in the following inning to total five RBI for the day. The 28-year-old is riding a five-game hitting streak while slashing .237/.331/.405 in 151 plate appearances. He leads the Padres in RBI (22) and walks (19).

Muncy went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in a 6-4 win over the Mariners on Tuesday.

Muncy put Los Angeles on the board with a 433-foot blast to center field in the fourth inning. The homer was his sixth of the campaign and third in his past six games. Muncy also took a base-on-balls in the second inning and has now drawn five walks over his past three games. The first baseman leads the league with 34 free passes on the season, helping to boost his OBP to .425 despite a meager .222 batting average.

Ramirez went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Cubs.

Ramirez put Cleveland on the board with a solo shot in the fourth inning. The third baseman has enjoyed a strong start to the season with 10 homers, 20 RBI, 23 runs scored and four stolen bases in 138 plate appearances. He's slashing .261/.348/.563 in 33 games, and his role in the heart of the order should lead to plenty more chances to participate in run production.

Devers went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the A's.

His seventh-inning blast off Chris Bassitt brought the Red Sox within a run, but it was the last gasp of offense for his squad. Devers has gone yard twice in the last three games, giving him nine homers on the year to go with a strong .280/.361/.576 slash line.

Senzel went 3-for-4 with a run scored in Tuesday's 7-2 loss to the Pirates.

The move back to second base seems to be agreeing with Senzel. The 25-year-old has hit safely in five straight games, going 8-for-20 (.400) over that span, and the hot streak has pushed his slash line on the season up to .277/.355/.351.
