The Orioles optioned Urias to Triple-A Norfolk on Tuesday, Dan Connolly of The Athletic reports.
The move was necessary to make room for Mac Sceroler's (shoulder) activation from the injured list. Urias went 2-for-4 with a homer in his only game after being recalled June 4, but that apparently wasn't enough to earn a longer stay with the big-league club. That said, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Urias up with the Orioles again at some point this season. All in all, he's hit .246/.328/.386 for the big club in 2021.
