Toro went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a second run scored in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Rays.

The 24-year-old is looking like a shrewd pickup for the M's so far, despite the flak the front office received when it flipped Kendall Graveman at the trade deadline. In seven games for Seattle, Toro is slashing .440/.500/.920 with three of his nine homers on the season.

Suarez went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Tuesday's 7-5 loss to the Twins.

The 30-year-old still isn't making a lot of contact, but at least the ball is traveling a long way when he does. Suarez has gone 7-for-32 (.219) over the last eight games with four extra-base hits (three homers and a double), and on the season, he's supplied 21 home runs and 58 RBI through 103 games despite a woeful .175/.260/.374 slash line.

Segura went 1-for-4 with a solo home run during Tuesday's win against the Nationals.

Segura stayed red hot by getting the scoring started with a 380-foot leadoff shot against Patrick Corbin in the first inning. The 31-year-old has now swatted at least one hit in 15 of his last 16 games, including three long balls in that span. On the season, Segura is mashing .307/.367/.456 with seven homers.

Manager Dusty Baker said that Bregman (quadriceps/hamstring) is slated to play the full game at Triple-A Sugar Land on Tuesday after being a late scratch from Monday's lineup, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Bregman was removed from Sunday's rehab game after experiencing right hamstring tightness, and the issue later forced the infielder to be scratched Monday. The 27-year-old is set to give it a go Tuesday, and assuming all goes well, he'll likely avoid a significant delay in his return to the big-league roster, which could come within the next week.

Duffy is not in the starting lineup Tuesday against the Rockies.

Duffy is 1-for-25 since being reinstated from the injured list July 23, so he'll retreat to the bench for the second time in three games. Frank Schwindel will start at first base as Patrick Wisdom shifts to the hot corner Tuesday.

Donaldson (hamstring) is not in Tuesday's lineup against the Reds, Phil Miller of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

He tested his hamstring on the field for a few minutes and felt the minor tightness that has plagued him for the last several days, so he will miss a fourth straight game. Luis Arraez will start at the hot corner and bat fifth.

Paredes (hip) will be shutdown for five days due to a setback in his rehab, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

The infielder had appeared in three rehab games for Triple-A Toledo, going 1-for-7 with a double and two walks. It's unclear how significant the setback is, but the Tigers will certainly be cautious with the 22-year-old as he recovers from a right hip strain. More details about Paredes' condition and a timeframe for his return should become clear once he resumes his rehab assignment.

Escobar went 2-for-2 with a three-run home run, a triple, two walks, four total RBI and two runs scored in Monday's win over the Brewers.

Escobar has gone just 3-for-12 since joining the Brewers from the Diamondbacks, but that doesn't tell the full story, as he's collected two homers, five RBI, four runs scored and a 4:3 BB:K. He's wasting no time in making his presence felt following the trade.

Rivera (wrist) will shift his rehab assignment from Double-A Northwest Arkansas to Triple-A Omaha on Tuesday.

Rivera played four games at Double-A, going 4-for-15 with a pair of walks. He'll likely start in multiple contests at Triple-A before the Royals presumably reevaluate him for a return from the 10-day injured list ahead of their weekend series in St. Louis. Once activated, Rivera will likely be limited to a backup role in the Kansas City infield, but he could also be optioned back to Omaha.

Kieboom went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and a second run scored in Monday's 7-5 loss to the Phillies.

The young third baseman made his first homer of the year a dramatic one, as he took Ian Kennedy deep in the ninth inning to give the Nats a spark of life, but his teammates couldn't complete the comeback. Kieboom may be finally getting comfortable in the majors, as he's gone 6-for-16 (.375) while starting each of the last five games.
