Urias went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and an additional run scored in Monday's 7-1 win over the Yankees.

Urias hit Baltimore's fourth and final homer off Yankees starter Andrew Heaney. The 27-year-old infielder has hit safely in five of his last six games, going 7-for-20 (.350) with a homer and two doubles in that span. He's seen regular playing time at shortstop thanks to a solid .284/.358/.426 slash line through 173 plate appearances this year. With Richie Martin (wrist) activated from the 60-day injured list Monday, Urias will need to continue hitting well to avoid losing playing time.

Urshela (hamstring) was placed on the 10-day injured list Monday, Max Goodman of SI.com reports.

Urshela has missed four straight contests due to a hamstring injury. Manager Aaron Boone noted that Urshela is doing well in his recovery and that the team will likely backdate his move to the IL. The Yankees have yet to announce a corresponding move.

Ramirez went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in Monday's 5-2 extra-inning win over Toronto.

The third baseman extended Cleveland's lead to three runs with his extra-inning blast. Ramirez has homered four times in his last eight games, giving him 23 on the year. He's put up a solid but unremarkable .255/.344/.525 slash line with 64 RBI, 68 runs scored and 11 stolen bases through 392 plate appearances. Ramirez has also played in six straight contests -- he's battled elbow soreness recently but it appears it's not limiting him as much as it did a couple of weeks ago.

Longoria (shoulder) could start a rehab assignment later in the week, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Longoria started a hitting progression near the end of July and continues to ramp up his baseball activities. If all goes well, the team could send him out on a rehab stint later in the week. He figures to need at least a handful of appearances in the minors after missing the last two months with a shoulder sprain.

Lewis (knee) resumed throwing and fielding last week at the Twins' spring training facility in Fort Myers, Fla., Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

The Twins likely aren't counting on Lewis to play at any point before the 2021 minor-league season comes to an end, but his ability to resume baseball activities five months after undergoing surgery to repair a torn ACL in his right knee indicates he's making excellent progress in his recovery. Lewis is expected to resume jogging in the coming weeks, and he should gradually increase the intensity of his running program throughout the summer and fall. The 22-year-old looks well on his way to entering 2022 spring training without any restrictions.

Toro went 3-for-4 with two doubles and a run in a loss to the Rangers on Sunday.

Donning a Mariners uniform has undeniably agreed with Toro, who now boasts a .500 average (9-for-18) with three doubles, two home runs, four RBI, one walk, one stolen base and five runs over his first five games with Seattle. The 24-year-old was already making a strong case to keep primary duties at the keystone with those numbers, but that has been further cemented by Shed Long's (lower leg) placement on the 10-day injured list Monday.

Castro will hit seventh and play second base Monday night against Milwaukee.

Castro is batting .222 with five homers in 36 at-bats for Pittsburgh. He homered in his lone at-bat against Monday starter Eric Lauer. Castro figures to see semi-regular playing time as part of a rotation at second base for the rest of 2021.

Anderson isn't starting Monday's game against the Mets, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Anderson snapped a six-game hit streak in Sunday's loss to the Yankees, and he'll retreat to the bench for the first time since he returned from the injured list July 24. Isan Diaz will start at the hot corner and bat fifth.

Bregman (quadriceps/hamstring) was scratched from Monday's lineup at Triple-A Sugar Land, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Bregman exited Sunday's rehab game due to right hamstring tightness, and he'll be out of the lineup for at least one game while he recovers. The 27-year-old had appeared in five rehab games prior to Sunday's injury, so he's approaching his return to the major-league roster as long as his recent injury doesn't present a major setback in his recovery process. According to Jake Kaplan of The Athletic, Bregman is scheduled to run Monday, and after that the next step in his rehab program will be determined.

Peterson was reinstated from the COVID-19 injured list Monday.

Peterson spent nearly a week away from the team due to contact tracing, but he'll be available for Monday's series opener against the Pirates. Prior to his absence, the 31-year-old had gone 4-for-21 with a run, an RBI, two stolen bases and three walks across seven games since the All-Star break.
