Asuaje was optioned to Triple-A El Paso on Monday, Dennis Lin of The Athletic San Diego reports.

Asuaje was sent down to make room for Franmil Reyes, who was crushing the ball at Triple-A. Asuaje was very much not crushing the ball in the majors, hitting just .198/.263/.292 through 39 games. He was the Padres' Opening Day second baseman and started there for the team's first 15 games but had since fallen out of favor, starting just once in the last 13.

Riley went 4-for-5 with three home runs, three runs, eight RBI and one strikeout in Sunday's game for Triple-A Gwinnett.

He entered the game hitting .250 with zero home runs and seven strikeouts in six games since his promotion to Triple-A, but he now he has a 1.077 OPS thanks to this monster performance. Strikeouts are going to be a part of Riley's game, but he is the youngest active hitter in the International League, so that's not really a red flag at this point. If he can continue to do damage, a summer promotion to the big leagues will likely be in order.

Senzel (vertigo) could return to action for Triple-A Louisville in roughly two weeks, freelance journalist Jason Linden reports.

The exact phrasing was that Senzel is about a week behind Phillip Ervin (undisclosed), who is expected to be back in action next weekend. This would mean Senzel could return around May 25. It is unclear how this latest vertigo scare will impact the Reds' decision to promote their top prospect to the big leagues this season, and it may have no effect on such a decision. Senzel was hitting .271/.351/.459 with three home runs and three steals in 97 plate appearances prior to exiting a May 3 game with dizziness.

Anderson exited in the top of the eighth inning of Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Braves due to a sore middle finger on his right hand, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports. He finished the day 1-for-3 with his 10th double of the season.

Anderson relayed afterwards that he hurt the finger while flying out in the bottom of the sixth inning, but he remained in the game defensively for another inning before giving way to J.B. Shuck. X-rays after the contest came back negative for Anderson, so he'll hopeful that the soreness will subside enough for him to return to the lineup for Miami's next game Tuesday against the Dodgers.

Rendon is out of the lineup Sunday against the Diamondbacks, Chelsea Janes of The Washington Post reports.

Following his return from a toe injury May 5, Rendon started in each of the Nationals' eight contest, going 7-for-29 (.241 average) with a pair of home runs and six RBI. Rendon will just be getting a maintenance day for Sunday's series finale, opening up third base for Wilmer Difo.

Anderson (undisclosed) was removed from Sunday's game against the Braves prior to the eighth inning, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.

Anderson was 1-for-3 with a double before being replaced in the outfield prior to the eighth inning. The reason for his early departure hasn't been announced, but Frisaro notes that Anderson has been sporting a wrap on his left hand after games recently.

Farmer is out of the lineup Sunday against the Reds, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

Farmer is on the bench for the fifth time in six games with the Dodgers opposing a right-hander starting pitcher in Luis Castillo. He remains stuck on the short side of a platoon with Max Muncy, but both players are expected to see their playing time dry up in the near future with Justin Turner (wrist) trending toward a return from the 10-day disabled list ahead of Tuesday's game against the Marlins.

Longoria went 2-for-4 with a solo homer in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Pirates.

The former Ray continues to supply solid right-handed power to the Giants' lineup. Longoria now has eight homers and 21 RBI through 38 games, although his .246/.272/.500 slash line remains disappointing.

Senzel (vertigo) was placed on the 7-day disabled list at Triple-A Louisville, David Jablonski of the Dayton Daily News reports. "We are being very cautious with Nick. He's had this before. We feel we've got a good treatment plan in place. We do think it's realistic to expect to see him back on the field in fairly short order," general manager Dick Williams said.

The Reds plan to activate Senzel when he is symptom free, and based on Williams' comments, it sounds like that could be later in May. There is no denying his talent when he is on the field, and the only knock against him as a long-term fantasy asset is that he has now missed time with vertigo twice in less than a 10-month span (he was shut down in late August last year with the same ailment). The Reds' top prospect, who has been a third baseman for most of his pro career, was moved to second base this year, as he is blocked by Eugenio Suarez at the hot corner in Cincinnati. Senzel was hitting .271/.351/.459 with three home runs and three steals in 97 plate appearances prior to exiting the game May 3 with dizziness. Once healthy, he could earn a promotion to the majors this summer, but his health issues cloud his timetable for advancement.

Kieboom went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, five RBI and a walk in Thursday's game for High-A Potomac.

He got off to a slow start to the season, but is hitting .350 with two home runs and a 4:9 K:BB over his last 40 at-bats, which has upped his season line to .243/.360/.412. Any opportunity to buy low has probably passed at this point, as Kieboom appears to be rounding into form.
