Anthony Rendon 3B | LAA
Nationals' Anthony Rendon: Returns to lineup Monday
Rendon (wrist) is back in the lineup Monday against the Cardinals.
Rendon was hit on the wrist by a pitch Friday against the Cubs and did not start either of the next two games, though he did appear as a defensive replacement Sunday. He's now ready to hit again and will play third base and bat cleanup against the Cardinals.

Brian Anderson RF | ATL
Marlins' Brian Anderson: Out of lineup Monday afternoon
Anderson is not starting for the first game of Monday's doubleheader against the Braves, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.
The Marlins are rotating several players for the doubleheader. Anderson is likely to return to the lineup for the second game. Isaac Galloway will start in right field in Anderson's place.

Nolan Arenado 3B | ARI
Rockies' Nolan Arenado: Will likely play Tuesday
Arenado (shoulder) is confident he'll play Tuesday against the Astros, Nick Groke of The Athletic Denver reports.
Arenado was nearly healthy enough to play in Sunday's series finale, but the Rockies elected to hold him out as a precaution. It's unclear if he'll slot in at third base or in the designated hitter spot, but it's good news that he'll return to action shortly after dealing with a minor shoulder issue.

Patrick Wisdom 3B | SEA
Cardinals' Patrick Wisdom: Knocks first two MLB hits
Wisdom went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and one RBI in Sunday's 8-2 win over the Royals.
Not a bad MLB debut for the 26-year-old, scoring a pair of runs and earning his first two big-league hits. It remains to be seen exactly what role Wisdom will be playing during his first MLB stint, but there's no guarantee he'll have an everyday spot just yet.

Anthony Rendon 3B | LAA
Nationals' Anthony Rendon: Held out again Sunday
Rendon is not in the lineup Sunday against the Cubs.
Rendon was scratched from Saturday's contest with a wrist contusion, and it appears the issue hasn't been resolved yet. He'll get another day off to rest, allowing Mark Reynolds to pick up a start at third base in his place.

Nolan Arenado 3B | ARI
Rockies' Nolan Arenado: Remains sidelined Sunday
Arenado (shoulder) is out of the lineup for Sunday's series finale against the Dodgers.
Arenado will be held out of the lineup for the second straight day with right shoulder soreness, although he was hit by a pitch in a pinch-hit appearance Saturday. The 27-year-old is presumably available to pinch hit again Sunday, and could serve as designated hitter for Tuesday and Wednesday's interleague series at Houston to gain some additional rest for his throwing arm.

Eduardo Escobar 3B | TOR
Diamondbacks' Eduardo Escobar: Out of Sunday's lineup
Escobar is not in the lineup for Sunday's series finale at Cincinnati, Jody Jackson of FOX Sports Arizona reports.
Escobar hit his first home run as a Diamondback on Saturday, but will head to the bench after starting the last 11 games. Daniel Descalso will start at third base for Arizona against Cincinnati starter Luis Castillo.

Eduardo Escobar 3B | TOR
Diamondbacks' Eduardo Escobar: Clubs 16th homer
Escobar went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk against the Reds on Saturday.
Escobar's 16th blast, which tagged starter Matt Harvey, also plated A.J. Pollock. This marked Escobar's first home run since joining the Diamondbacks via trade last month, but he's now hitting .311 with nine RBI and seven runs scored wearing his new uniform. He's still a useful mixed-league fantasy piece with his .278/.339/.511 slash line, 72 RBI and 52 runs in 460 plate appearances.

Ryan McMahon 3B | NYY
Rockies' Ryan McMahon: Smacks walkoff homer
McMahon went 1-for-4 with a walkoff three-run homer in Saturday's win over the Dodgers.
The 23-year-old has now homered in consecutive games and is batting .344 with six extra-base hits in 14 games since his most recent recall. He's still not playing every day, but McMahon is worth stashing in a lot of leagues as he has the skill set to be valuable if regular playing time were to open up.

Evan Longoria 3B | ARI
Giants' Evan Longoria: Starting as usual Saturday
Longoria (back) is starting at third base and batting third against the Pirates on Saturday, Rob Biertempfel of The Athletic Pittsburgh reports.
Longoria exited Friday's game with a back bruise after being hit by a pitch. It appears to have been a precautionary move by the Giants as the veteran third baseman is back in the starting lineup.
