After going 0-for-13 (albeit with four walks) over his first four games, Suarez has had hits in the last two games, including a two-run single Wednesday night.
The Reds collectively started slow this season, but caught fire Wednesday night against Kyle Hendricks and the Cubs' bullpen. It's a matter of time before Suarez gets his power stroke back.

Evan Longoria 3B | ARI
Giants' Evan Longoria: Officially activated Thursday
Longoria (oblique) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Thursday.
Longoria was progressing toward making his debut after dealing with a right oblique strain, but he'll officially be available for the Giants' series finale against the Padres. With Longoria and Brandon Belt (Achilles) returning to action, Wilmer Flores and Donovan Solano could see fewer opportunities going forward.

Giants' Evan Longoria: Should be back Thursday
Giants manager Gabe Kapler reiterated that Longoria (oblique) remains on track to return from the 10-day injured list ahead of Thursday's series finale against the Padres, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.
Longoria was placed on the IL shortly before Opening Day with a moderate right oblique strain, but he'll end up missing the minimum amount of time due to the injury. The Giants had been running out a tandem of Wilmer Flores and Donovan Solano to cover the hot corner while Longoria was out, but both will likely see most of their future opportunities at second base, shortstop or designated hitter now that both Longoria and Brandon Belt (Achilles) are set to return from the IL.

Reds' Mike Moustakas: Homers in return
Moustakas went 1-for-2 with two walks, a home run, two RBI and two runs scored Wednesday against the Cubs.

He quickly produced at the plate, taking Kyle Hendricks deep in his second at-bat of the game for a two-run home run. It was Moustakas' second homer of the year, and he has now reached base in seven of his 12 plate appearances.

Mike Moustakas 3B | CHW
Reds' Mike Moustakas: Able to return
Moustakas (illness) is expected to return Wednesday against Cubs, Bobby Nightengale of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Moustakas and teammate Nick Senzel had been out of action for the past few days due to an illness, though neither tested positive for COVID-19. They apparently made a successful appeal to a panel of league and union representatives that cleared the path for their return, so they should both be back in the lineup Wednesday.
