Braves' Austin Riley: Not fully healthy but will play
Riley (quadriceps) isn't 100 percent but will be in the in lineup Wednesday against the Reds for Game 1 of the Wild Card Series, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.
Quadriceps tightness has kept Riley off the field since Friday, the only time he's played in the past week. Given that we're now in the playoffs, however, teams will be more willing to risk players who are less than 100 percent, so it's no surprise that Riley is expected to play.

Mets' J.D. Davis: Sitting in season finale
Davis is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

Davis struggled down the stretch with a 2-for-28 showing at the plate over his last nine games, saddling him with a .249/.370/.392 slash line for the season heading into the finale. That's a 134-point drop in OPS from his career-best 2019 campaign.

Austin Riley 3B | ATL
Braves' Austin Riley: Won't play until playoffs
Riley aggravated his right quad during Friday's game and won't play again until the first game of the postseason, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.
With Atlanta likely claiming the No. 2 seed in the playoffs, manager Brian Snitker said Saturday that the team will be cautious with Riley and hold him out for the final two games of the regular season. However, Snitker said that the injury isn't serious, and Riley is walking around fine while also hitting in the cage. Adeiny Hechavarria is starting at third base Saturday and should do so again Sunday.
