Mike Moustakas 3B | CHW
Reds' Mike Moustakas: Should play Tuesday
Manager David Bell said after Monday's 4-1 loss to the Padres that Moustakas was scratched from the lineup ahead of the game due to a right arm injury, but the third baseman is expected to start Tuesday, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.
Colin Moran picked up the start at the hot corner in the series opener in San Diego, but Moustakas looks as though he was only removed from the lineup for precautionary reasons. Assuming his arm doesn't present any issues during batting practice or defensive drills when he works out early Tuesday, he looks like he'll be ready to take back his normal role in the Cincinnati infield.

Reds' Nick Senzel: Activation looming
Senzel (illness) is back with the team and is expected to be activated from the injured list Tuesday, Bobby Nightengale of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
According to Nightengale, Senzel has been unable to take the field while dealing with a stomach bug, but he's expected to be available Tuesday if all goes according to plan. He's appeared in five games so far this season, going 2-for-17 with a double, an RBI and three strikeouts. Assuming Senzel is back in time for Tuesday's contest, Jake Fraley would likely shift back to right field, resulting in Tyler Naquin returning to a bench role.

Madrigal went 3-for-5 with a double and two runs scored in Sunday's win over the Rockies.
Madrigal only recorded one hit through his first four games but has bounced back admirably and is now riding a three-game hitting streak, going 6-for-13 (.462) in the process. Plus, he has knocked extra-base hits in each of his last two contests as well. The second baseman seems to be turning things around following a dreadful start to the campaign.
