Cavan Biggio RF | HOU
Dodgers' Cavan Biggio: Sitting Tuesday
Biggio isn't in the Dodgers' lineup Tuesday versus the Diamondbacks.
Biggio continues to split time at third base with Chris Taylor until Max Muncy (oblique) returns. Biggio has struggled with Los Angeles, batting .188 with a 33.3 percent strikeout rate in 12 games since being acquired from the Blue Jays. Taylor has the start at third Tuesday and is batting eighth.

Brewers' Joey Ortiz: Idle Tuesday
Ortiz isn't in the Brewers' lineup for Tuesday's game versus Colorado.
Ortiz was held hitless in five at-bats during his return to the lineup Monday after missing the Brewers' last three games due to a neck injury. He'll get a day to regroup Tuesday while Andruw Monasterio starts at the hot corner and bats ninth.

Joseph Ortiz SS | MIL
Brewers' Joey Ortiz: Returning to Milwaukee lineup
Ortiz (neck) will start at third base and bat leadoff in Monday's game in Colorado.
Ortiz has been absent from the Brewers' lineup for the previous three contests due to neck discomfort, but he's been cleared to return for the start of a road trip. The 25-year-old returns to a .275/.380/.455 batting line.

Enrique Hernandez 3B | LAD
Dodgers' Enrique Hernandez: Tallies three hits in loss
Hernandez went 3-for-4 with a double and a run Sunday in a loss to San Francisco.
Hernandez accounted for three of the Dodgers' eight hits in the contest as he recorded his first multi-hit performance since May 29. The utility man has remained an inconsistent part of the team's lineup despite injuries to Max Muncy (oblique) and Mookie Betts (wrist). Hernandez has started just three of the Dodgers' past seven games, and he carries a mediocre .208/.274/.312 slash line along with four homers and 12 RBI over 190 plate appearances on the campaign.

Jeimer Candelario 3B | LAA
Reds' Jeimer Candelario: Returns as DH
Candelario started at designated hitter and went 0-for-3 with a walk in Sunday's 2-0 loss to the Cardinals.
Candelario sat out four consecutive games due to a hamstring injury before returning Sunday. Once he's ready to play the field, it won't be as the club's primary third baseman. While Candelario was out, Noelvi Marte was reinstated from a suspension and became the regular starter at third base. That means Candelario will move to either DH or first base.

Matt Chapman 3B | SF
Giants' Matt Chapman: Swats 11th homer
Chapman went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk and three total RBI in Sunday's 10-4 win over the Dodgers.
Chapman's been hot to close out June, going 13-for-37 (.351) with three homers, nine RBI and 11 runs scored over his last 10 contests. He hit just .190 over his first 15 games this month. The third baseman is at a .242/.323/.414 slash line with 11 homers, 39 RBI, 55 runs scored and a career-high seven stolen bases through 82 games this year. Chapman's unlikely to continue to hit for average, but he can still make an impact if his power stays up.

Alec Bohm 3B | PHI
Phillies' Alec Bohm: Blasts 10th home run
Bohm went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 7-6 win over the Marlins.
Bohm raked in June with five home runs and 20 RBI in 24 games this month. However, Bohm was 1-for-16 over his previous four games and got back on track, blasting his 10th homer Sunday. The fifth-year breakout continues for Bohm, who now has 68 RBI this season, the third-most in MLB. The 27-year-old has been one of the most consistent third basemen in MLB, hitting .300/.350/.489 over 81 games.

Cavan Biggio RF | HOU
Dodgers' Cavan Biggio: Exiting starting nine Sunday
Biggio is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.
Biggio will head to the bench after he started at third base over the first two games of the series, going 0-for-5 with two strikeouts. Chris Taylor will step in at third base in place of Biggio, who is slashing just .167/.265/.167 with a 35.3 percent strikeout rate since being acquired from the Blue Jays on June 12.

Santiago Espinal 3B | LAD
Reds' Santiago Espinal: Sitting in second straight game
Espinal is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.
Espinal will hit the bench for the second straight day after he had started in six straight games at either third base or designated hitter. With Noelvi Marte recently getting reinstated from an 80-game suspension to begin the season and with Jake Fraley and Jeimer Candelario returning to the lineup Saturday and Sunday, respectively, after multi-game absences, Espinal's opportunities are expected to become more limited moving forward.

Joseph Ortiz SS | MIL
Brewers' Joey Ortiz: Not starting Sunday
Ortiz (neck) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cubs, Sophia Minnaert of Bally Sports Wisconsin reports.
The 25-year-old is out of the lineup for the third straight game due to neck soreness, but his absence is viewed as precautionary. Ortiz's appearance as a pinch runner during Saturday's contest reinforces that sentiment. Andruw Monasterio will receive another start at the hot corner in Sunday's series finale.
