Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE
Indians' Jose Ramirez: Goes yard twice
Ramirez went 2-for-5 with a pair of solo home runs and a strikeout in Thursday's win over the Royals.
The homers were Nos. 6 and 7 for Ramirez on the season. It marked his first multi-homer game since July 30, 2018, as noted by Zack Meisel of The Athletic. Ramirez has had a pretty miserable last calendar year, but he's showing signs of life with a .288/.360/.530 line, three homers, two steals and 4.0 percent K-rate in his last 17 games. For now, he remains in the five hole for Cleveland.

DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY
Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Plays hero in extras
LeMahieu went 1-for-5 with two RBI and a run Thursday in the Yankees' 8-4 win over the Rays in 10 innings.
LeMahieu picked a good time to supply his first hit of the day, as his two-run single to left field in the top of the 10th helped break at 3-3 tie. The Yankees' leadoff hitter has reached base in all but one of his last 10 starts, delivering a monstrous 1.451 OPS during that span while accruing 10 extra-base hits, 15 RBI and 15 runs.

Jeimer Candelario 3B | LAA
Tigers' Jeimer Candelario: Hits fourth home run
Candelario went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Thursday's 11-5 win over the White Sox.
Candelario has been getting regular playing time at third base since his June 26 callup from Triple-A, and so far he's making the most of it, slashing .357/.455/.643 in eight games. While his overall slash line of .207/.305/.326 is much less impressive, this recent stretch gives some reason to believe that Candelario will have a good second half of the season.

Rafael Devers 1B | SF
Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Reaches base four times
Devers went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and two walks, scoring twice in a victory over Toronto on Thursday.
Devers put the Red Sox on the board with a solo home run in the first inning and reached base three additional times in the game. The productive performance extended his hitting streak to eight games, during which he has batted a torrid .529 (18-for-34) with 11 runs batted in. On the season, the 22-year-old is slashing .331/.382/.554 with 15 home runs, 59 RBI and 66 runs scored.

Matt Duffy 3B | TEX
Rays' Matt Duffy: Resumes rehab assignment
Duffy (hamstring) started at third base in the Gulf Coast League Rays' loss to the Gulf Coast League Orioles on Thursday and went 1-for-2 while playing five innings.
It was a positive return to action for Duffy overall, with Thursday marking his first time suiting up since May 24. The veteran infielder is expected to eventually move his rehab assignment up to High-A Charlotte and Triple-A Durham, as he continues his quest to still suit up for the Rays at some point in 2019. "He knows he has a little bit of a road ahead of him, but start getting his at-bats and see where that takes us," manager Kevin Cash said. "But he felt good going out and as he said, it's probably the best he has ever felt going to a rehab this season."

Gio Urshela 3B | MIN
Yankees' Gio Urshela: Undergoes MRI
An MRI on Urshela's left glute came back clean, Coley Harvey of ESPN.com reports.
This is obviously good news, but Urshela's availability for this weekend is up in the air. Long considered a light-hitting, glove-first third baseman, Urshela has surprised with an .829 OPS through 68 games. He should continue to start against left-handers and occasionally against righties.

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Homers twice Wednesday
Moncada went 2-for-5 with two home runs and three RBI in the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Tigers.
Moncada became the 10th player in franchise history to go yard from both sides of the plate in the same game. He got the White Sox on the board in the first inning with a solo shot from the right side of the plate, then hit a game-tying homer in the 10th inning from the left. In between, he knocked in a third run via a sacrifice fly. He now has 16 homers on the season, one shy of the career high he posted in 2018. The third baseman has hit safely in all four games since returning from a knee injury.

Alex Bregman 3B | CHC
Astros' Alex Bregman: Slugs 23rd homer
Bregman went 1-for-2 with two walks, a solo home run, a second run scored and a stolen base in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Rockies.
He got the Astros on the board with a first-inning blast, and Bregman got very little to hit the rest of the night. The 25-year-old is now slashing .267/.392/.541 on the year with 23 homers, four steals, 55 RBI and 58 runs through 85 games.

Gio Urshela 3B | MIN
Yankees' Gio Urshela: Crushes seventh homer
Urshela went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Mets.
Urshela appeared to sustain an injury as he slowly rounded the bases on his sixth-inning homer, but he was just dealing with a cramp and never exited the contest, per Mike Mazzeo of Yahoo Sports. Urshela has taken advantage of the numerous injuries to the Yankees' lineup this season and is slashing .307/.357/.472 in 68 games.

Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE
Indians' Jose Ramirez: Scores three times
Ramirez went 2-for-5 with an RBI groundout and three runs in Tuesday's 9-5 win over the Royals.
While his season-long slash line remains unsightly, Ramirez has at least displayed better form recently, batting .298/.379/.474 across his last 15 starts. A surging Cleveland offense has helped Ramirez deliver useful run (12) and RBI (10) totals over that stretch, but his power production (one home run, six extra-base hits) has remained fairly muted.
