Jake Burger 3B | TEX
White Sox's Jake Burger: Tallies multi-hit game
Burger went 2-for-4 with an RBI on Tuesday against the Cubs.
Burger entered the game having gone hitless in his last nine at-bats while striking out five times. While he struck out two more times Tuesday, Burger also drove in his seventh run of the season with an infield single in the second inning. Burger has seen an increased opportunity with Yoan Moncada (oblique) sidelined, though the former has struggled to a .250/.270/.383 line across 64 plate appearances. Burger's playing time is also likely to diminish significantly in the near future, as Moncada is currently on a rehab assignment with Triple-A Charlotte and could be activated from the injured list as early as Wednesday.

Rafael Devers 3B | SF
Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Homers in win
Devers went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's victory over the Angels.
The third baseman took Noah Syndergaard deep in the bottom of the fourth inning, putting the Red Sox up 1-0. The long ball was his fourth of the season and he is now up to 10 RBI as well. Devers has posted a .297/.311/.485 slash this season and has been putting the ball in play consistently over 101 at-bats, posting a career-low strikeout percentage to this point.

Tyler Nevin 3B | ATH
Orioles' Tyler Nevin: Leaves Tuesday's game
Nevin was removed from Tuesday's game against the Twins with right groin soreness, Zachary Silver of MLB.com reports.
The 24-year-old went 0-for-1 with an RBI and was hit by a pitch before being pulling during the sixth inning. He was making his fifth straight start Tuesday since Ryan Mountcastle and Trey Mancini have dealt with some injuries of late but are now healthy, so Nevin's playing time is likely to dip regardless of the severity of the injury.

DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY
Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Gets Tuesday off
LeMahieu is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Blue Jays.
The Yankees will roll out an infield of Anthony Rizzio, Gleyber Torres, Isiah Kiner-Falefa and Josh Donaldson while LeMahieu sits for only the third time this season. While starting in each of the Yankees' last 14 games, LeMahieu slashed .304/.361/.411 over 56 at-bats.

Ramon Urias 3B | STL
Orioles' Ramon Urias: Parked on bench Tuesday
Urias is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Twins.
Urias went 2-for-13 with a double, a walk, two runs and an RBI while starting each of the past four games for Baltimore. He'll get a routine maintenance day Tuesday, allowing Tyler Nevin to stick in the lineup as Baltimore's third baseman.

Cesar Prieto SS | STL
Orioles' Cesar Prieto: Lands on injured list
Prieto (hamstring) was placed on the 7-day minor-league injured list Monday, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
Prieto sustained a Grade 1 right hamstring strain Friday and will miss at least a week due to the injury. However, the Orioles are optimistic that the 22-year-old will be back in action following a short-term stay on the injured list.

Gio Urshela 3B | MIN
Twins' Gio Urshela: Sits in favor of rookie Monday
Urshela is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Orioles.
He'll give way at third base to Jose Miranda, who will make his MLB debut Monday after his call-up from Triple-A St. Paul. The addition of Miranda presents some competition for Urshela, though the 23-year-old prospect may also see at-bats at second base, first base or designated hitter. Urshela's absence from the lineup may be a byproduct of his 0-for-13 showing at the dish over his past three starts, but he's still holding down a serviceable .258 average on the season.

Jose Miranda 3B | MIN
Twins' Jose Miranda: Promotion official
The Twins recalled Miranda from Triple-A St. Paul on Monday.
As anticipated, the 23-year-old Miranda will receive his first call to the big leagues in the wake of Miguel Sano (knee) and Kyle Garlick (calf) landing on the 10-day injured list. Miranda has turned in a modest .737 OPS over 95 plate appearances at St. Paul this season, but he was named the Twins' minor league player of the year in 2021 after hitting .344 with 62 extra-base hits between stops at Triple-A and Double-A Wichita. Though he doesn't have a direct path to an everyday role with the big club, Miranda's ability to play three infield spots and potentially serve as a designated hitter should allow to pick up at least a handful of starts during his initial taste of the big leagues.

Anthony Rendon 3B | LAA
Angels' Anthony Rendon: Resting Monday
Rendon is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the White Sox, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
Rendon is one of four Angels regulars sitting out for either rest purposes or a minor injury as the team concludes its four-game series in Chicago with an afternoon contest. Jack Mayfield will step in at third base for Rendon, who went 3-for-10 with a pair of doubles, two walks and two RBI over the first three contests versus the White Sox.

Isaac Paredes 3B | HOU
Rays' Isaac Paredes: Base hit in team debut
Paredes went 1-for-4 with a strikeout Sunday against the Twins.
Paredes was recalled from Triple-A Durham on Sunday after Ji-Man Choi (elbow) was placed on the injured list. Paredes was immediately inserted into the lineup, starting at third base and hitting seventh. He could see regular playing time with Choi sidelined, as Yandy Diaz is capable of serving as the first baseman in a shift that would open playing time at the hot corner.
