Gunnar Henderson 3B | BAL
Orioles' Gunnar Henderson: Goes deep in win
Henderson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's win against Texas.
The star rookie's solo shot in the fourth inning against Jon Gray proved to be the only offense the Orioles needed. Henderson snapped an 0-for-8 skid to begin his 2023 campaign with Monday's multi-hit performance. He also struck out twice, bringing his season K:BB to 6:6.

Anthony Rendon 3B | LAA
Angels' Anthony Rendon: Suspension reduced to four games
Rendon's suspension has been reduced to four games and he'll begin serving Monday against the Mariners, Erica Weston of Bally Sports West reports.
Rendon was initially suspended for five games, but in return for him dropping his appeal the third baseman has the punishment reduced by one game. The suspension comes after Rendon was in an altercation with a fan on Opening Day in Oakland where the third baseman grabbed someone by the shirt while attempting to strike them before leaving the field. He'll be eligible to return Saturday against the Blue Jays.

Anthony Rendon 3B | LAA
Angels' Anthony Rendon: Suspended five games
Rendon (knee) has been suspended five games and received an undisclosed fine for his role in an altercation with a fan on Opening Day in Oakland, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
Rendon appears to be appealing the suspension as he's in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Mariners. The veteran first baseman was seen on video grabbing a fan by his shirt and then attempting to strike the fan while using some off-color language in the process. Even if Rendon wins the appeal, it's likely he'll miss at least a a couple of games at some point this spring as punishment.

Ramon Urias 3B | STL
Orioles' Ramon Urias: Sitting Monday
Urias is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Rangers.
After striking out in all five of his plate appearances in Saturday's 9-8 loss to the Red Sox, Urias saved face to some degree in Baltimore's 9-5 loss in the series finale Sunday, when he went 1-for-3 with a double and a run. He'll cede his spot in the infield in Monday's series opener in Texas to Adam Frazier, who gets the nod at the keystone.

Josh Donaldson 3B | MIL
Yankees' Josh Donaldson: Takes seat Monday
Donaldson is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Phillies.
Donaldson will get a breather after he manned third base for each of the Yankees' three games in the team's season-opening series with the Giants, during which he went a collective 2-for-11 with a solo home run, a walk and an additional run. Though he remains the team's preferred option at the hot corner, Donaldson will likely be subject to at least one or two days off per week while the Yankees rotate leadoff man DJ LeMahieu across three infield spots.

Matt Chapman 3B | SF
Blue Jays' Matt Chapman: Three more hits Sunday
Chapman went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two runs scored and an RBI in Sunday's loss to the Cardinals.
The veteran third baseman has gotten off to a blistering start to 2023, going 6-for-12 during a three-game set in St. Louis. Sunday's doubles were Chapman's first extra-base hits of the year, and he's slugged 27 homers in each of the last two seasons. If he can hit for a respectable batting average as well -- the 29-year-old has batted above .249 only once in his big-league career -- he could prove to be a mid-round fantasy steal.

Josh Jung 3B | TEX
Rangers' Josh Jung: Swats first home run
Jung went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Sunday's 2-1 win over the Phillies.
Jung launched his first homer of the season to lead off the second inning. His bat was quiet during the Rangers' first two games when the club scored 27 runs, but it was vital in Sunday's low-scoring affair. The third baseman, who had a single and two walks in the first two contests, has crossed the plate four times, which is tied for the team lead.

Matt Duffy 3B | TEX
Royals' Matt Duffy: Goes yard in season debut
Duffy went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 7-4 loss to the Twins.
Duffy got the start at third base and batted ninth Sunday. Considering Hunter Dozier went 0-for-7 with two strikeouts over the first two games of the season, this could be Duffy's chance to make a push for playing time. Over 77 games with the Angels last year, he slashed .250/.308/.311. He hasn't hit more than five homers in any of his last five seasons (dating back to 2016), so he shouldn't be counted on for power production.
-
Eugenio Suarez 3B | CIN
Mariners' Eugenio Suarez: Productive at plate in loss
Suarez went 2-for-5 with an RBI infield single, a double and two runs in an extra-inning loss to the Guardians on Sunday.
Following a 2-for-11 start at the plate over the first three games of the series and a three-strikeout tally Saturday, Suarez came through with his first multi-hit effort of the new season. The veteran slugger has already laced a pair of doubles over his first four games after racking up 57 extra-base hits -- his most since 2019 -- in his Mariners debut campaign last season.

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Homers again Sunday
Moncada went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run, two doubles, two runs scored and a walk during Sunday's 6-3 win over the Astros.
Moncada extended Chicago's lead to five runs with a two-run shot during the ninth inning, as he homered for the second straight day. The 27-year-old is 8-for-18 with two homers, three doubles and four RBI through the first four games of the season, though he's also struck out seven times.
