Matt Chapman 3B | SF
Blue Jays' Matt Chapman: Sitting again Tuesday
Chapman (finger) is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game versus the Phillies.
The 30-year-old was scratched from Sunday's starting nine due to inflammation in his right middle finger, and he'll sit again Tuesday after Monday's team off day. The Blue Jays have another day off coming Thursday, so it's possible Chapman is also held out for Wednesday's series finale to provide a couple extra days of rest. Santiago Espinal is manning the hot corner and batting eighth Tuesday.

DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY
Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Notches hit in return
LeMahieu (calf) went 1-for-3 in a loss to Atlanta on Monday.
LeMahieu returned to action after missing a week due to a calf injury. The veteran played first base and collected a single before being lifted for a pinch hitter in the ninth inning with the game out of reach for New York. LeMahieu has had a rough season at the plate, slashing .241/.315/.372 with eight homers, 29 RBI, 35 runs and a career-worst 22.8 percent strikeout rate.

Royce Lewis 3B | MIN
Twins' Royce Lewis: Activated from injured list
Lewis (oblique) was activated from the 10-day injured list Tuesday, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.
Lewis wound up missing more than six weeks of action with a Grade 2 left oblique strain, but he's ready to roll now after going 5-for-12 with a couple home runs in four rehab games with Triple-A St. Paul. While the 24-year-old might not have a set starting position, the fact that he can play all over the infield and the Twins also don't have a regular designated hitter bodes well for his chances of regular playing time. Lewis should be scooped back up in any leagues where he was dropped.

Gunnar Henderson 3B | BAL
Orioles' Gunnar Henderson: Plates three runs Monday
Henderson went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI in Monday's 4-1 win over the Padres.
Henderson's bases-clearing opposite-field double off Yu Darvish in the top of the fifth inning provided all the support rookie right-hander Grayson Rodriguez (one run allowed over seven innings) would require as the Orioles took the series opener. The two-hit performance was Henderson's first since Aug. 4, with the 22-year-old slashing just .103/.156/.207 over the eight games in between.

Curtis Mead 3B | WAS
Rays' Curtis Mead: Breaks through with three hits
Mead went 3-for-5 and scored twice in Monday's 10-2 win against San Francisco.
All three of Mead's hits went for a single, but it was nonetheless a positive performance after he went just 2-for-16 with seven strikeouts over his first six MLB games. The rookie infielder has posted a .302 batting average over 1,048 career minor-league at-bats, so chances are that it's only a matter of time before he starts hitting in the majors. Monday's effort was a step in that direction, though Mead has yet to pick up his first extra-base hit or RBI, and his playing time hasn't been consistent enough to make him a must-roster player in most redraft fantasy formats.

DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY
Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Included in Monday's lineup
LeMahieu (calf) is in the lineup for Monday's game against Atlanta.
LeMahieu has not appeared in a game since being scratched from last Wednesday's lineup with a tight calf, but he is ready to return to the field. He will hit sixth and man first base rather than serve as the designated hitter in his return, so it appears the Yankees are confident that he has put the injury behind him.

Eugenio Suarez 3B | CIN
Mariners' Eugenio Suarez: Breaks RBI drought Sunday
Suarez went 2-for-4 with an RBI single in an extra-inning loss to the Orioles on Sunday.
Suarez had gone the previous four games without an RBI, a modest stretch by most players' standards but a virtual eternity for one with as much of a penchant for timely hitting as the veteran slugger. Suarez's multi-hit effort was his fifth in the last 13 contests, and he's hit .333 with men in scoring position over 21 plate appearances during that span.

Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE
Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Reinstated from suspension
Ramirez was reinstated from the restricted list Monday after completing his two-game suspension.
Ramirez sat out games in Tampa Bay on Saturday and Sunday while serving the ban, which stemmed from with the White Sox's Tim Anderson on Aug. 5. The Guardians are off Monday, but Ramirez will be available for the start of their two-game set in Cincinnati on Tuesday.

Zack Gelof 2B | ATH
Athletics' Zack Gelof: Homers twice Sunday
Gelof went 4-for-5 with two home runs in Sunday's 8-7 loss against the Nationals.
Gelof opened the scoring with a solo home run off Trevor Williams in the first inning before adding a second long ball in the fifth. The 23-year-old second-baseman is up to eight homers this season, with three coming in his last four games. Gelof's now slashing .281/.343/.635 with 18 runs scored, 13 RBI and six stolen bases across 105 plate appearances in an impressive rookie campaign.
