  • Ramon Urias 3B | STL

Orioles' Ramon Urias: Goes deep Sunday

Urias went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 7-6 loss to the Athletics.

Urias started two of the Orioles' three games against the A's, as playing time has opened up in the infield following Jackson Holliday's demotion to Triple-A Norfolk. The homer was Urias' first of the season, though that's in part due to his limited usage for much of the season. The utility infielder is slashing .186/.205/.279 with three RBI, five runs scored and a double over 44 plate appearances on the year. Urias, Jordan Westburg (illness) and Jorge Mateo will likely combine to cover second base and third base moving forward.

  • Jose Miranda 3B | MIN

Twins' Jose Miranda: Doubles twice in win

Miranda went 3-for-5 with two doubles and two RBI in Sunday's victory over the Angels.

Miranda opened the game's scoring with an RBI single in the fourth inning. He later drove in Minnesota's 11th and final run of the game with an RBI double in the eighth. Miranda has collected multiple hits in three straight games, going 7-for-13 (.538) with four extra-base hits in the process. His slash line is up to .292/.320/.500 through 16 games.

  • Isaac Paredes 3B | HOU

Rays' Isaac Paredes: Launches homer in loss

Paredes went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the White Sox.

Paredes took Erick Fedde deep for a solo shot in the top of the fourth, giving Tampa Bay an early 1-0 lead. He later singled and came around to score in the top of the ninth on a double from Harold Ramirez. The homer was the 25-year-old's seventh of the season and second in his last five games. Since April 14, Paredes has batted .314 with three home runs, seven RBI and seven runs scored over 51 at-bats in 13 games.

  • Orioles' Jordan Westburg: Sits with illness

Orioles manager Brandon Hyde said Westburg wasn't available for Sunday's 7-6 loss to the Athletics due to a stomach bug, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

The illness brought an end to a streak of 16 straight starts for Westburg, who has a .304/.360/.543 slash line through 25 games this season. The 25-year-old should be considered day-to-day heading into Monday's series opener versus the Yankees.

  • Miguel Sano 3B | LAA

Angels' Miguel Sano: Not in Sunday's lineup

Sano (knee) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins.

Sano is dealing with inflammation in his left knee and will sit Sunday for the second straight game, and he also exited Wednesday's and Friday's contests due to soreness. Mike Trout will receive a turn at designated hitter while Aaron Hicks starts in center field.

  • Josh H. Smith SS | TEX

Rangers' Josh Smith: Not in Sunday's lineup

Smith is out of the lineup for Sunday's game versus the Reds.

Smith has been surprisingly productive this season with an .852 OPS through 27 games, but he'll take a seat for Sunday's contest. Davis Wendzel will step in at the hot corner and bat seventh.

  • Royals' Maikel Garcia: One steal, two RBI in loss

Garcia went 2-for-5 with two RBI, a stolen base and one run scored in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Tigers.

Garcia struggled in the middle of April, but he's now logged four multi-hit efforts over his last five games. He's added three steals and five RBI in that span while continuing to sit atop the Royals' order. The third baseman is slashing .222/.277/.380 with four home runs, seven steals, 20 RBI and 13 runs scored over 27 contests this season.

  • Bobby Dalbec 1B | CHW

Red Sox's Bobby Dalbec: Bat shows life in win

Dalbec went 2-for-4 with a double, three RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's 17-0 win over the Cubs.

Dalbec's bat, like many others in the lineup, came alive in the blowout win. His season-opening struggles are epic -- zero hits in his first 19 at-bats and one in the first 32 -- but the corner infielder now has a four-game hit streak (5-for-15). However, it may be too late save his job as the team's primary fill-in at first base while Triston Casas (ribs, 60-day IL) is sidelined. The Red Sox acquired Garrett Cooper from the Cubs on Saturday, and he is expected to get the bulk of the starts at first base until Casas is ready to return. Cooper is expected to be activated in time for Tuesday's series opener against the Giants.

  • Abraham Toro 1B | BOS

Athletics' Abraham Toro: Retreats to bench

Toro is out of the lineup for Sunday's game in Baltimore.

Toro will have a streak of four straight starts come to an end as Ryan Noda returns to the lineup at first base and Max Schuemann gets the nod at the keystone. Over the previous four contests, Toro went 2-for-13 with a double and an RBI.

  • Orioles' Jordan Westburg: Takes seat Sunday

Westburg is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics.

Westburg started the past 16 games and posted a 1.057 OPS during that stretch, but he'll receive a breather Sunday while in the midst of a 4-for-20 slump. Jorge Mateo will step in at the keystone and bat ninth.
