Anthony Rendon 3B | LAA
Angels' Anthony Rendon: On bench Saturday
Rendon is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Athletics.
Rendon will get the night off Saturday after starting back-to-back games. The 34-year-old will hand over DH duties to Willie Calhoun, who'll hit cleanup. Rendon owns a .562 OPS through 142 plate appearances this season.

DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY
Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Sitting again Saturday
LeMahieu is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Red Sox.
LeMahieu will sit for a second straight game. He pinch hit for Ben Rice in Friday's 9-7 loss to Boston, striking out in his lone plate appearance in the ninth inning. Oswaldo Cabrera will start at third base Saturday and bat ninth against Red Sox right-hander Brayan Bello.

Jordan Westburg 2B | BAL
Orioles' Jordan Westburg: Sitting Saturday
Westburg is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Padres.
Westburg will get a breather Saturday after going 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and two total runs scored in Friday's 6-4 loss to San Diego. Connor Norby will get the start at second base Saturday and bat eighth against Padres right-hander Michael King.

Jason Vosler 3B | SEA
Mariners' Jason Vosler: Plates pair with timely knock
Vosler went 1-for-5 with a two-run single and a run in a win over the White Sox on Friday.
Vosler gets credit for lighting the proverbial match for what had been a completely moribund Mariners offense coming into Friday -- his timely knock that drove in Jorge Polanco and Cal Raleigh ignited what would be an eight-run first inning and 10-run night for Seattle. The recent arrival slotted in at first base in the big win, and he figures to continue splitting time there with rookie Tyler Locklear for the foreseeable future while also potentially seeing occasional time at third base or designated hitter. Vosler has hit safely in each of his first three games with the Mariners, and Friday's pair of RBI were his first in a Seattle uniform.

Josh Rojas 3B | CHW
Mariners' Josh Rojas: Big homer in Friday's win
Rojas went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run in a win over the White Sox on Friday.
Rojas made his one hit count, as he hit a 386-foot shot to right center in the first inning that brought home Jason Vosler and Mitch Garver. The blast was the first of three straight for the Mariners in the opening frame and snapped a 31-game homerless drought for Rojas, who'd last left the yard June 15. Despite the big hit, Rojas still has a ways to go to bring his numbers back up to par with his early-season body of work, as he's hitting just .158 and sporting an anemic .518 OPS across 66 plate appearances in July.

Jose Miranda 3B | MIN
Twins' Jose Miranda: Reinstated from IL
The Twins reinstated Miranda (back) from the 10-day injured list Saturday.
Miranda went 3-for-6 with two walks during his two-game rehab assignment with Triple-A St. Paul and checked out fine after going through a pregame workout with the Twins on Friday, so he will now officially return from the injured list. The 26-year-old infielder has yet to play a game in the second half, though he had turned in a cool .515 batting average and 1.300 OPS through 35 plate appearances in July before getting injured. Edouard Julien was optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move.

Alex Bregman 3B | CHC
Astros' Alex Bregman: Slugs 13th homer
Bregman went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 5-0 win over the Dodgers.
The third baseman took Gavin Stone deep in the third inning, giving Bregman an extra-base hit in his third straight game. After a sluggish start to the season, he's put things together in July, slashing .295/.360/.500 over 20 games with four of his 13 homers and 13 of his 50 RBI on the year.

Rafael Devers 3B | SF
Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Back at third base
Devers started at third base and went 2-for-3 with two walks, an RBI and a run scored in Friday's 9-7 win over the Yankees.
Devers was back home at third base after serving as the designated hitter in Boston's previous game Wednesday. He had an injury scare with his shoulder Tuesday, which had prompted the move to DH, but the shoulder appears to be fine. Devers is 7-for-10 with four doubles, three walks, two RBI and three runs scored over his last three contests.

Jordan Westburg 2B | BAL
Orioles' Jordan Westburg: Opens scoring in loss
Westburg went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and two total runs scored in Friday's 6-4 loss to the Padres.
Westburg took Adam Mazur deep in the second inning to open the scoring. It's been a bit of a streaky month for Westburg -- he's batting .205 (16-for-78) with four homers, six RBI and a 3:16 BB:K over 19 contests in July. The infielder is at a .267/.314/.491 slash line with 17 homers, 54 RBI, 51 runs scored and six stolen bases through 96 games overall. His playing time isn't in danger yet, but an extended slump by Westburg could open the door for Connor Norby or Ramon Urias to claim a larger role.

Luis Rengifo 2B | MIL
Angels' Luis Rengifo: Nabs steal Friday
Rengifo went 1-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in Friday's 5-4 loss to the Athletics.
Rengifo is 3-for-15 with four RBI and one steal on two attempts over four games since he returned from a wrist injury that cost him most of July. The utility player still needs to work on his timing at the plate, but his bout of right wrist inflammation hasn't flared up again, as he's started three straight games in the field. Rengifo has a .308/.352/.432 slash line with six home runs, 29 RBI, 37 runs scored and 23 steals over 73 contests this season.
