Angels' Brandon Drury: Takes seat Saturday
Drury is out of the lineup Saturday against the Blue Jays.
Drury will take a seat against Jose Berrios on the day Anthony Rendon returns from his four-game suspension. The infielder has struggled over six games with the Angels to begin 2023 with a .410 OPS, no home runs and a 0:7 BB:K over 25 plate appearances.

Luis Garcia 1B | NYY
Nationals' Luis Garcia: Out with hamstring injury
Garcia is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Rockies.
Garcia left Friday night's game against the Rockies with tightness in his hamstring, so it's not a surprise the infielder will miss at least one full game while recovering. Michael Chavis gets the start at second base and will hit seventh against Austin Gomber and the Rockies.

Vidal Brujan SS | NYM
Rays' Vidal Brujan: Recalled from Triple-A
The Rays recalled Brujan from Triple-A Durham on Saturday, Tricia Whitaker of Bally Sports Sun reports.
Brujan replaces Jose Siri after Siri was placed on the 10-day injured list with a right hamstring strain. The former top prospect has posted just a .439 OPS in 62 career games with the Rays, and will likely see inconsistent playing time while he's on the major-league roster.

Giants' David Villar: Not in Saturday's lineup
Villar is out of the lineup for Saturday's game versus Kansas City, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Astros' Mauricio Dubon: Takes seat Saturday
Dubon is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Twins, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Guardians' Andres Gimenez: Registers second steal
Gimenez went 1-for-3 with a double, a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in Friday's 5-3 loss to the Mariners.
Gimenez has hit safely in seven straight games since going 0-for-3 on Opening Day. The second baseman has hit sixth or seventh in every game so far despite his solid ability to get on base. Overall, he's batting .323 (10-for-31) with a home run, two steals, four RBI, nine runs scored and a 3:7 BB:K through eight contests.

Luis Garcia 1B | NYY
Nationals' Luis Garcia: Day-to-day with hamstring injury
Nationals manager Davey Martinez told reporters after Friday's win over the Rockies that Garcia is considered day-to-day with a hamstring injury, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.
Garcia left in the sixth inning after grabbing at his hamstring running to first base. Zuckerman notes the infielder was walking around the clubhouse, so while it's possible he could sit out a game or two as a precaution it does appear he's avoided a serious injury.
