McNeil is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

McNeil started seven of the last eight games at second base since Robinson Cano (quadriceps) was placed on the injured list, but he receives the day off Sunday with Cano returning to action. McNeil seems likely to return to a more regular role in left field going forward for the Mets.

Andrus is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Reds.

Manager Chris Woodward will give his regular left side of the infield the day off, as Andrus will be joined on the bench by everyday third baseman Asdrubal Cabrera. Andrus, who went 0-for-8 over the first two games of the series, had started each of the Rangers' 22 contests since he returned from the 10-day injured list May 25.

Castro is starting at second base and batting fifth in Sunday's series finale against Cleveland.

This will be the fourth straight start for Castro, who has primarily played at second base but has also gotten time at third and in the outfield. The 25-year-old is slashing just .229/.269/.271 through 17 games, but he should continue to get a look on a rebuilding Tigers team.

Frazier is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins.

Frazier saw a three-game, multi-hit streak come to an end in Saturday's 4-3 loss, when he went 0-for-2 with a walk. He'll sit for the third time this month in what likely amounts to a normal off day.

Semien went 3-for-4 with a walk, a home run, three runs scored and two RBI in Saturday's 11-2 rout of the Mariners.

The shortstop extended his hitting streak to 12 games, during which he's slashing .296/.439/.623 with three homers and 11 RBI. The hot stretch has boosted Semien's slash line to .279/.362/.441 on the year -- all of which would be career highs if he can keep them up.

Kemp was not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Blue Jays.

Kemp has been serving as Houston's primary second baseman while Jose Altuve (hamstring) is on the injured list, but the left-handed batter was given the day off against left-hander Clayton Richard. Jack Mayfield got the start at second in place of Kemp.

Mayfield started at second base and went 3-for-4 with three doubles, an RBI and three runs scored in Saturday's 7-2 win over the Blue Jays.

Mayfield tied the franchise's single-game record for doubles recorded by a rookie. The 28-year-old infielder entered the game with just two hits over his previous 34 at-bats.

Torres went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in an 8-4 win over the White Sox on Saturday.

Torres delivered a two-run homer for the Yankees in the fourth inning and brought home another run with a sacrifice fly in the sixth. The 22-year-old has reached base in 12 straight games and is hitting .333 in that stretch.

Marte went 2-for-4 with a pair of solo home runs in a 10-3 victory over the Nationals on Saturday.

Marte homered off Stephen Strasburg on the first pitch of the game and teed off on Strasburg again in the fourth inning. The homers were his 18th and 19th of the season after hitting 14 all of last season. Marte now sports a .280/.333/.549 slash line with 49 RBI in 286 at-bats.

Rodgers was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque on Saturday.

The highly-rated prospect didn't exactly impress in his first taste of big-league action, hitting .246/.300/.277 and striking out 31.4 percent of the time over 70 plate appearances. His opportunities to start were dwindling, as he'd started just twice in the last six games, so he'll head back to the minors in search of regular playing time. Jesus Tinoco was recalled in a corresponding move.
