Merrifield went 2-for-5 with a double, two RBI and a run Tuesday in the Royals' 8-6 win over the Indians.

Merrifield's base knock in the top of the ninth helped fuel the Royals' comeback from a three-run deficit and gave him two hits for the third consecutive contest. The 30-year-old previously notched three consecutive multi-hit games in April and will look to establish a new season-long streak in Wednesday's series finale. He'll lead off and man left field, marking his first start of the season at that position.

Biggio will start at second base and bat leadoff Wednesday against the Yankees.

Normal table setter Eric Sogard is receiving a breather for the day game after the night game, so Biggio will settle in atop the order for the first time since June 14. Biggio owns a robust .352 on-base percentage through his first 27 games in the big leagues, but his elevated strikeout rate (28.6 percent) has played a major part in limiting his average to a pedestrian .221. The rookie has at least made some progress on that front lately, as he'll carry a four-game hitting streak into the series finale.

Rosario went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a second run scored and a stolen base in Tuesday's loss to the Phillies.

The 23-year-old remains locked in at the plate, slashing .433/.438/.633 over the last nine games with a homer, four steals, four RBI and six runs. Rosario continues to hit near the bottom of the Mets' order, limiting his fantasy potential, but if he continues cranking out hits he could work his way into a more productive lineup spot.

Forsythe started at third base Tuesday in place of the suspended Asdrubel Cabrera. He went 1-for-3 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in a 5-3 win over Detroit.

With Cabrera's suspension still extending another two games, Forsythe becomes the top option at third base for the time being. After hitting with regularity over the first two months, Forsythe is batting just .171 over 35 at-bats in the month of June.

Rengifo went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and a walk in a victory over Cincinnati on Tuesday.

Rengifo took Tyler Mahle deep with a 408-foot blast in the second inning to give the Angels a 4-1 lead. The 22-year-old struggled out of the gates this season but has had a productive June, hitting all three of his home runs this month while posting a .270 average and 10 runs batted in.

McNeil went 4-for-5 with one run, one RBI and one double in Tuesday's 7-5 loss at Philadelphia.

McNeil went 1-for-5 in the series opener but delivered yet another multi-hit performance Tuesday. The 27-year-old has shown no signs of slowing down and is slashing .348/.410/.498 with five homers and 20 doubles in 66 games.

Albies went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk Tuesday against the Cubs.

Albies took southpaw Mike Montgomery deep in the seventh inning for what proved to be the game-winning runs. He continues to crush left-handed pitching, as he's slugging over .600 against lefties for the season. Albies now has 12 total home runs on the campaign and is hitting .285/.347/.468 across 349 plate appearances.

Rodriguez went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Rangers.

Rodriguez didn't get into the game until a pinch-hitting appearance in the seventh inning, and then he got the Tigers closer with his ninth inning home run, giving him seven long balls this season. The 27-year-old has cooled considerably since a strong start to the season, and he's fallen into a reserve infielder role, which severely limits his fantasy utility.

Rodgers was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a right shoulder impingement, retroactive to June 24.

According to Kyle Newman of The Denver Post, the highly-touted rookie said he first felt the shoulder discomfort after a throw to first base in Colorado's game against the Dodgers on Saturday, and it's been impacting his ability to get the proper backspin on his throws, so he'll head to the 10-day IL to recover. Ryan McMahon will continue on at second base, while Trevor Story (thumb) could be back this weekend.

Fontana was released by the Rangers on Tuesday, Stefan Stevenson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

He hit .167 with three home runs in 34 games at Triple-A this year. At 28 years old, he may struggle to latch on elsewhere.
