Haggerty is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers.

Taylor Trammell will get some reps in left field Sunday, but Haggerty -- who has started three of the last four games -- still appears to have the upper hand for playing time at the position. Realistically, however, both Haggerty and Trammell are merely keeping the seat warm in the outfield for top prospect Jarred Kelenic, who could be summoned from Triple-A Tacoma any day now.

Castro is starting at shortstop and batting second in Sunday's game against the Twins.

Castro started in center field Saturday and went 3-for-4, and the Tigers will reward him with another start in the series finale. The 27-year-old is batting .302 so far this season, so he could continue to earn playing time at the expense of players such as Niko Goodrum, who is on the bench Sunday, and Willi Castro.

The Red Sox recalled Arauz from Triple-A Worcester on Sunday.

He'll join the 26-man active roster as a replacement for Christian Arroyo (hand), who was placed on the 10-day injured list in a corresponding move. Much like Arroyo, Arauz will serve as a utility infielder for Boston while's up with the big club.

Boston opted to shut Arroyo down after he failed to make much progress since he was removed from Wednesday's game against the Tigers when he was struck in the hand by a pitch. The Red Sox recalled Jonathan Arauz from Triple-A Worcester to serve as a utility infielder while Arroyo is sidelined.

Arroyo will remain out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Orioles due to his sore left hand, Jen McCaffrey of The Athletic reports.

Arroyo isn't a regular in the Boston lineup, but his lingering hand injury may prompt manager Alex Cora to go away from him if a bench bat is needed at any point Sunday. Boston currently has infielder Jonathan Arauz on hand as a member of the taxi squad, and he would be the most likely candidate to join the active roster if Arroyo requires a stint on the 10-day injured list.

McNeil went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored in the Mets' 4-2 win over the Diamondbacks on Saturday.

McNeil homered off Merrill Kelly in the third inning for his third of the year. He also stole his first bag of the season in the seventh frame, giving himself a combo meal Saturday. The 29-year-old is struggling at the plate, slashing .227/.327/.364 with three home runs, eight RBI and 13 runs in 101 plate appearances. He is a career .311 hitter, so his sluggish start is uncharacteristic, but he is fitting right in with the lack of offensive production in Queens.

Rojas went 2-for-3 with a run scored in Arizona's 4-2 loss to the Mets on Saturday.

The Diamondbacks were quiet offensively Saturday, but Rojas produced another multi-hit game. He is currently riding an eight-game hitting streak in which he is batting .452 with four home runs, six RBI and nine runs. In contrast, he started the season 2-for-31. The 27-year-old is slashing .277/.355/.506 in 93 plate appearances.

Castro went 3-for-4 with a run scored in Saturday's win over the Twins.

Castro has posted back-to-back three-hit games, and those two appearances have allowed him to leave a 3-for-20 slump in the rearview. The utility man is hitting .302 in 2021.

Lowe went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in Saturday's loss against Oakland.

Lowe homered for the second time over his last three games, and the second baseman has been seeing the ball well of late -- he has at least one knock in seven of his last nine contests. That said, the strikeouts might be a concern with him -- he has struck out at least twice in five of his last six appearances. Lowe is hitting .270 (10-for-37) with three homers, six RBI, six runs scored and 14 strikeouts during that aforementioned nine-game stretch.

Semien went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run, a walk and an additional run scored in Toronto's 8-4 win over the Astros on Saturday.

Semien homered off Joe Smith in the ninth inning to lengthen Toronto's lead. He has reached safely in his last 16 games and is batting .351 with four home runs, 12 RBI and 10 runs during that stretch. In addition, he and Bo Bichette lead the Blue Jays with eight home runs and six steals each. The 30-year-old is slashing .254/.326/.476 in 141 plate appearances.
